It's been a long time coming. I played ep48 yesterday, then went to run some stuff in ep 47. There was maybe 5 people in there. If you're a long time player of this game, there is no incentive to play the older content, and the new content is all over the place. The voice acting is shit, the character designs are fucking deplorable.

13 years, 7 months is the length of time hearing how DCUO is dying. As for the game, this is no different from all other MMO or MMORPG games out there. I'm okay with this. This game like all games out there is a business and like every business entity out there they don't have to tell us anything as it relates to how a business decides to earn profit, revenue, or capital to increase growth or net working capital to remain solvent and pay their employees.

the quality of the last 3 eps were absolute garbage, Half the content from last ep was unplayable and their were so many game bugs. The worst piece of content I've ever seen from any game I've enjoyed. Then this dlc came out and just verified the game is cooked, straight up embarrassment to the game and all the ogs who still just cope with it are gonna be sad when the game shutsdown and their out thousands of dollars bc they wanted to keep supplying a game that doesnt respect your time our money. The game is absolute trash has been a nostalgia grab since stats revamp when the game slowly went into maintenance mode for good.

DCUO needs a Final Fantasy 14 style revamp; better graphics, better combat, better interface, and bringing it up to current gen. Big 22, buying marks will put new players with endgame players and new players won't have a idea of running mechanics, then they try to tell us how to play. I stay on dc cause of the people I run with. Dc has been a investment that seems to be falling short.

My problem with this game is the fact that they are creating new problems that are artificially time-gated and they are selling you the solution. Gaining currency slowly so you can't earn gear fast enough? Buy it from the store. Can't level up your artifacts because earning the materials to break them past their milestone is too slow? Buy it from the store. Can't call down orbital strikes or hire henchmen because you're free to play? Buy a membership. Don't have an ally? Buy one from the store. Is your ally weak? Buy some ally favor on the store. Is there a new style you want but its hidden away in a mega capsule or time capsule that changes every other week? Buy stabilizers in the store and try your luck! It's soulless. A rotten carrot on a stick. I understand the game is free to play but if you can just buy the currency needed to purchase some of the best gear on day 1 then what is the point of the grind? People who never spend a dollar will see the next episode release before they get anywhere close to that level.

I played dcuo a lil back then when it was released and I started playing again a week ago. I really like the game how it is right now. Its fun to build a character with all that styles and I like the new stuff to buff your character even though the grind is annoying sometimes. I really really enjoy that game and it is the best mmo ive played personally. I understand the problems you guys are having but I really dont think its so bad as yall are saying. If you always need expensive things you want to grind for, you shouldnt play. If the game itself isnt fun enough to make you play, don’t play. I also think that the worst thing that happens right now is that the players are calling the game dead because you will kill the game this way since you are scaring new players. Its a selffulfilling prophecy and we should appreciate the game for the good things and critize daybreak for the bad things but scaring away new players is the worst you can do.

I played this game from 2011... I have over 10k combined from ps3,4,and 5.. artifacts, I was willing to pay...that's it.... then allies, this game is pay to win...I left the game 2022, then came back yesterday and I'm here going all this to pay to win...man...

I played this game for so long as a kid. I grew up playing this ,but stopped yrs ago because I could see where it was going. Got on warframe finally, and I'm chilling now.

Happens to us all. Started playing when it launched on Xbox in 2016. Took breaks here and there. Watching the community slowly dwindle down and then seeing this.. it’s sad. I still play with people I met back then. Definitely my favorite game of all time. Shame what happened.

I haven’t touched DCUO in well over a year. Been part of this community since February 2011. Yeah, real OG in the game. I’m just tired of all of the gimmicks and have given them one too many chances. They’ve done absolutely nothing to revitalize what this game once was at its core. I truly miss the old DCUO. This newer generation of players have no idea. It’s sickening seeing how they’re trying to capitalize further upon in-game currency with our marks. For them to make a decision like that is a final nail in the coffin type of ordeal. And, the sad part is you know there will be people out there who will still buy into it. It’s like you said, all of the grind, hours, blood, sweat, and tears mean absolutely nothing now. A punch to the gut, being spat in the face is what this feels like. And, I was considering coming back just to see how things were. But, Daybreak isn’t worth supporting when this is what they do. The DCUO community deserves better and we’ve given them so much. Nothing but a pure insult to us all. What a joke

Fr they made it trash da pvp been broken, they been getting progressively more money hungry, they've been getting lazier, most core people devs left and was replaced by worse people and they've still been not communicating. Sad to see

Feels like once all the old devs left the current ones are just cutting corners and milking it. Though I’ve been against Cash Grabs in this game since 2012 when the first Booster Bundle came out. Sure, having Feats in Time Capsules sucks, but anything that has ever been in a Time Capsule is still in the game as you can get the older styles and feats off the Quark Vendor and the Capsules off the Broker. Though there’s waaaay too many feats locked behind Gamble Capsules that realistically nobody is getting unless they throw away ridiculous amounts of money on RNG gambling for those Skill Points. I stopped caring about those as they are primarily earned via money not skill, thus not really “skill” points. Also, as many others have shown from numerous videos our Skill Points hardly contribute to our stats compared to everything else which is disappointing. Anything that is a “Limited Time Only or Exclusive” that gets removed from the game for good is in my opinion the worst as it’s assets permanently removed only to generate FOMO sales and impulse buys. Then when they hit us with the Stat Clamp only to then sell us stats back on Artifacts which required Nth Metal, Catalysts, and Seals with Seals originally being only able to be obtained from the Marketplace was gross. I’m glad that the Seals eventually became free via the Daily Log in Vendor. Then they sold us on Allies, Wolfpacks, and now currency. Wolfpacks they don’t seem to understand how to handle sales of, for example I’d be more inclined to buy a Wolfpack if they did more Double XP events. The more XP the more artifacts that hit Rank 200 from it, the more Rank 200 artifacts you have the more you’ll want to buy a Wolfpack to get it on every toon. If I can’t hardly get my artifacts to Rank 200 as a free player then I have no use of Wolfpacks because you can’t even use them anyways unless you have maxed your artifacts. The currency while gross, has sorta been in the game for years as you could buy Replay Badges and reset the content thus rushing and buying your gear early. However at least by resetting things you still actually had to play the game and had to earn it still. This buying of currency so you can log in and buy your full suit 5 minutes after the DLC drops is gross. That one, like Booster Bundles feels the most disgusting to me. Like, why play? You could literally open your wallet and buy end game gear, buy your Rank 200 Arts, buy your allies and their XP, and can buy Wolfpacks so you can share the Arts. Also once that first suit is bought the suit goes on a discount so then you can do a couple weeks of play and have your offrole gear set completed fast and easy too because you bought your main suit. At that point it makes me ask “why play?” Like, none of the content is challenging anyways and you’ll just be trashing the suit you bought in a few months anyways when you buy your next one. So again, why bother? I was subbed the entire first decade of this game but when they changed things to where you can now finally play and earn everything as a free player I finally stopped subbing and spending and now stay 100% free. I’d spend money to reward good decisions, but selling currency isn’t a decision I can get behind. I’m also super burnt out on Harley Quinn and the stale rinse and repeat of content. I’ve been waiting nearly 14 years for something fresh like Batman Beyond content and the low effort recycled shit they push out just doesn’t have me entertained anymore.

Honestly, this game is antiquated, it's been in maintenance mode for a while and it deserves to die. The players deserve better and even a new DC MMO or even a Marvel MMO.

I played it back in 2010 and could not get in a single raid for hours because everyone wanted tanks since there were too many DPS and Healers. I just started playing this game again for a month now on PC and am already CR 445 playing for free as a Tank. I don't want the game to end for at least 2 more years.
