Yeah I suppose some people want a short cut to use the best gear in the game. Kinda takes the fun out of it imo. I would like to use a bunch of the artefacts that I have never been able to get my hands on, that's why I farm gold.

Its either play the market or be played by the market. Ultimately my technique requires no skill in Dark and Darker which separates it from any other farming method. Also if this is what's ruining dark and darker for you it seems we have been playing different games 🤣 If money is so easy to farm for you then the inflated prices shouldn't be a problem 🤔

@faust_H they're talking about farming iron I would guess. You can use it to make lockpicks. Only place that is a guaranteed spawn for a lock pick or skull key is in inferno as far as I'm aware.

Idk I only had like 250 subscribers before I started making the vid series and half of those don't care about dark and darker. I think it's possible to put out videos that get a lot of traction even if you don't have an established platform.

Truthfully this video is less about dark and darker and more about a precautionary tale for life.

Sometimes the best way to learn is through experience and I thought this would be a harmless way to discuss an important concept. I only hope everyone is wiser for the experience.

It's an end game strategy, certainly can't dream of using it till you have tens of thousands of gold. Work with the other strategies I covered in previous videos to help build up your gold on a smaller budget. One day the firefly abdomen will just be a drop in the ocean of wealth you horde 😁

Would you have preferred to watch 10 minutes of footage of collecting golden teeth at 269 Gold per stack from the trade menu? I can't imagine that would have been very entertaining. Just do the math, golden teeth were 30gp each a few weeks ago, now they're 90 gold each. There isnt much more to it bro.

I think unfortunately the base game of DoW Soulstorm on steam has some game breaking crash bugs. One thing that you can do to have smoother gameplay is turn off round sounds; they cause crashes.

It does the opposite! It actually makes the pelts less likely to drop! There is evidence that like might not be working presently according to the wiki too.

I turn off persistent bodies and scarring as this can cause lag. I also turn unit occlusion off. I also turn off random sounds as this can cause the game to crash when playing the enemy stronghold missions. Beyond that, everything else is set to max settings. I hope this helps!

You're absolutely right, loot is now easier to acquire than ever and I couldnt be more thrilled. A lot of people still struggle with it though and like to develop alternative routes to wealth. That being said, if you're good enough to kill most of the players you meet, you won't be struggling for gold. Also I do find playing the market to be a fun game within itself. I have made hundreds of thousands of gold this way, so the china bots will have to try much harder to outplay me 🤣

Also couldnt agree more about trap disarm kits. Now the questing is different this season I doubt they will go up in value

Unique grade gems? Do you mean legendary ones for gold smithing? I didn't even know unique grade treasure existed if that's what you mean 🤣. I have bought and sold the epic and legendary gems. Seems to work well, although I've mainly been buying and selling gold and rubysilver ore. The quests have pushed up their prices this week I think 🤔

@VitriolExhaust there are gems better than legendary, the unique ones, and you can get crazy profits from reselling them

ive been playing tank rogue and its insane. you can get 135HP and 38%PDR for like 500g. and it just goes crazy from here cause you can out DPS everyone

It really was insane! I really didn't expect that. When I did arena with a fully kitted rogue I would get 1 shot by barbs but his kit was just extra health items! I'm glad I was able to get revenge on them in the following game :)

Good thinking! The value of all coin containers will hit a max and start to drop. If you sell before the drop you certainly will be in a good position.

Your response seems a bit disproportionate. Why does this game make you so angry? Whats your issue with it really?

@VitriolExhaust I don't understand what's disproportionate about my statement, but let me paint a broader brushstroke with my experience and see if things make better sense. I played the game since before the warlock got released. In those days the pacing of the dungeon crawling and stress of getting your guy with the best loot out of the quickly closing circle fighting over the same randomly spawned exit portals as every other squad was the allure of the game, and yea people had a meta to win fights but the game had a much more balanced state of progression, combat (outside of a couple specific exploitative combat styles that could have just been tuned over time), and replay ability because the team fights that occured due to everyone being scared to spill their pockets on the floor by risking the fight coincidently changed the fighting dynamics making the time period at its peak. Every single update since has been a downward slide into recycled rock paper scissor character class mashups that get worse and worse with certain characters receiving very clear favoritism regardless of player feedback. Every new character is also like adding a gun to the rock paper scissors match until they lose their playerbase because of ABSOLUTE JANK and panic hotfix only to break something else(see sorcerer as reference lmao). Regardless of what they vlaim in their discord the devs don't have a proper vision anymore, and what should have been a dungeon survival experiense with ocasional equal opportunity player engagements became a crappy tarkov alternative and most people just don't care about that type of game or want to sweat that hard like the lizard man streamer to enjoy their game with the boys(and the steam numbers show this). People just want to DnD style dungeon clear with their friends and stake their spoils in high stakes dungeons, gladiator arenas, or evolving markets based off of the laws of supply and demand, none of which are priorities to the devs. Happy New Year, I hope that was comprehensive enough.

Absolutely, the key is finding the right balance. You can have a total of 100 trading slots, you certainly don't want to fill all 100 with items that will take a week to sell. You're right that you could miss out on better trades in the meantime. I try to have a mix of long-term and short-term trades

But most of poeple no gonna know that or how to see for find the new tips

Are you sure you're using the latest update for the mod manger? I am not sure what the solution might be otherwise. I would recommend asking in the the mod makers in their discord.
