Uhh....you're really late to this "exploit". Like it might even be intentionally designed that way and no one has asked the Devs yet. Like do you know how hard it is to hit a halfway decent player with all of the arrows anyway? How many times I've died by trying to pull off a stupid trickshot instead of actually fighting doing it for the memes?

Try aim at the chest in point blank range. I usually run multiple ranged weapons and use the multishot as my melee weapon. I'm not sure how you reason that the multishot shooting down in a line is intentional.
