Great hunt! I shot a big 5x5 about 8-10 years ago early season in Colorado. Coolest looming bull and biggest I’ve taken archery to date…wait…it’s my profile pic! Congrats on the awesome bull!

I saw a video of a hunter that got sheds that look kind of like your bull, with that crazy "whale tail" type end, including a small fork on one side. It was by MTN BUILT, "Bucks EVERYWHERE! Colorado Public Land Mule Deer Hunt" at 8:46. I wonder if it was the same bull.

The split yoke is a step backward in my opinion. The true binary system is the most simple system you can have. I have had every Hoyt bow since they went to the true binary (Ventum, Ventum Pro, VTM, Alpha X, RX7, RX8, etc.) and have had ZERO problems with cam/wheel lean. These bows have tuned easily and in most cases changing the spacers is not needed and when it is needed it is about a 2 minute process. The cool thing is this. If you love a smooth draw, super smooth, keep your RX8 Ultra. If you want tiny bit more speed, pick up the RX9 Ultra. You will shoot both bows the exact same (i.e. the RX9 will not make you a better shooter). Truly zero innovation from Hoyt this year, but that does not mean they are not great bows. The most innovation this year is, by far, Darton. If we are honest.

Was really hoping you'd incorporate some sort of bridgelock technology. RX7U is my favorite bow of all time but we need bridgelock for the sight

Why? That's gay mathews crap.

Nice, I watched a review from Podium Archer. Quite impressive 338fps and 85 decimals, that may be quieter than mathews again.

You guys with your whining crap, every year you expect some ground breaking, oh my god, changes to everything. If you want a new bow, buy it. If not, don't. Big deal.
@huntsimple952717 сағат бұрын
@@WolfinWolvesClothing713 No whining from me. Just facts. Innovation in archery reached a peak a few years back, now it is mostly just cosmetics and things that are preferences, not game changers. Which as I said, is fine. If someone wants 6 FPS more than last year, get the new bow. All good my friend!

@ what I have isn’t broken so not much need to fix it. I just made a perfect 31 yard shot on a deer with it 2 weeks ago. 2012 Hoyt rampage XT with 80 lbs limbs on it, it maxes out at 84.92 lbs & it is fun to kill stuff with. Only down fall it has is the newer bows have better let off & are more silent when fired.

I can sit all damn day in a tree, if i dont get too cold. sitting in a blind over a food plot is a nightmare. Lots of guys get kids out there in a blind to start their hunting career. i think thats a mistake. 2 years of doing that and now my 13 year old has zero desire to do it. even though he has been successful hunting from the blind.

I invented and patented a compound bow that DOES NOT HAVE A CABLE GUARD. An arrow is nocked the same way an arrow is nocked on any other compound bow. View KZbin video "COMPOUND BOW NO CABLEGUARD".
