Great story! Wish you would have shown the bull after the kill.

The guy filming only had 5 days. With this tag being special, I opted to be more picky than usual and it took me 12 days to find the bull I shot. Therefore we had to fill in some things to create the film since the bull wasn’t shot on film.

@@RyanDeCookjust don’t make a film out of it then, film the next hunt. Terrible video.

Does Hoyt have a good warranty that will be honored as Matthews does?

The bow tech is absolutely correct and I never thought of it, he is part of our success. Obviously we know setting up our bows is crucial. What they do is so important and ultimately they do become part of our success.....and failure lol

I was thinking I was going to see a hunt but I hope Hoyt got their money worth out of sponsoring him 😊

Cool video, but what a let down to black out the shot and not show the bull or pictures taken after the kill. Why go through all of the effort to film a hunt and leave out what the entire point of the hunt is, the grind to get a shot and harvest a bull….lol
@SneakAttackFilmsАй бұрын
The kill is the only reason for the hunt? I couldn’t disagree more. When I was young, I gauged the success of the hunt as you have. I have been on several OIL hunts. I wish I could have those hunts back; a redo. I placed far too much emphasis on antler size, horn length, the kill shot. “Did we get it on tape?” It ruined more than one experience. Nugent said it best, I paraphrase; “if I wanted to kill, I’d raise chickens.” The point is the hunt. Success comes in many different forms.

The kill is the only reason for a hunt. Do you go into the woods without a bow or rifle? No. The hunt is beautiful, but at the end of the day you hunt to kill.
@SneakAttackFilmsАй бұрын
@@jasoneven8320 everyone has reasons of their own. I do go into the mountains often without the intent to take an animal. Measures of success vary greatly. For myself, it’s not the kill.

You are very lucky that you are allowed to hunt with a bow

For the life of me...I dont understand why a production company would film with these 4k cameras and then make a 1080video ...i just dont get it.

That was like a lonnnggg commercial. You can tell none of this was authentic filming. After the fact filming AND no kill shot? You guys don’t have to make a video just because you hunted and filmed. Terrible video.
