He has not installed one of the seats. They do support this boat. Any mention of this from him? I can't understand the gibberish.

I keep coming back to your videos over and over as when times are tough you put the confidence back into me. Things are definitely getting better for me and I haven't blanked for a long time now although it might only have been a wasp or two that saves the session lol. Still working on my techniques and making the right lure choices but I'm enjoying it. Got more confidence with the Pike now also but my best has only been about the same size as the first one in you caught in this video.

hi paul, very enjoyable video, many thanks, i wanted to ask you how many months of the year does the frog work, is it an april-sept lure or is it a shorter window than that? i used a frog for the first time on saturday past, my pal and me were on a loch in the scottish highlands and without any exaggerating we both had 50 plus hits EACH, we landed 4 each with my best one at 14lb, but the amount of aggressive takes and follows were amazing, i fished it slow and left it static and that seemed to trigger a hit, most takes would come in 3-4 ft of weedy water or right in close, it was just amazing sport and we lost a few decent fish as it was'nt all small jacks! any info you can give me on frogs as to how long a season is for them would be very much appreciated, many thanks

Great video Paul. What length do you use for your FC leader?
@riverpiker7 ай бұрын
Hi Andrew. I generally have about 18inch. It helps with protection against rocks etc. most waters I fish are quite shallow but rocky and braid doesn’t generally do well for abrasion resistance m.

I use 12-15lb to many snags where I am. It gets expensive if not.

Had a bad one like that before. Muckboots got submerged, back to car for waders and new socks, ripped the waders on barbed wire unknowingly before wading out. After that invested in sealkinz extreme cold weather waterproof socks, €50. If its really cold, or im static in the boat I'll stick on the halfords hot feet pads too.

ha ha like me mate calamity after calamity sometimes. Might have to get myself some seal skins for the winter. I'm getting a bit older so i guess i need to keep the cold out. Though it helps staying dry in the first place!

I'm 61 and i did the same 2 years ago, don't wanna let the fish swim with my bait in his mouth so for the pike it was good but not for me, a day later i had a big cold but i should do it again 😊
