Really nice little video that. Good to see your having the same journey as myself and no doubt other on our BFS pilgrimage. 🤗

I added like, and I have now subscribed, I have been coarse fishing, primarily float or ledger/feeder, unfortunately I found a prorex xr rod, at my nearby dealer, and I have had a relevant pair of casters/reels for years, so I will purge your selection of blogs. Many thanks

Just getting into the light lure fishing for trout. Having to make do with my light 10g to 30g pike/perch set up atm though. I am making do, but had a few lost fish. Deffo getting a BFS set up asap!

Awesome to see another video mate, a massive improvement from the first. Casting is miles better, can see you're getting the hang of it now. Youll keep getting used to it and the distance will come! Ill send you some Ceramic Hybrid bearings soon when i get them in stock as this should make casting 2/3g a hell of a lot easier. I can cast 2/2.5g on mine good distance all day but really have to load up the rod and get the reel dialed in!

I have thatrod, love the way the tip swings , its so light. I found at first I was struggling more with the cast because I wasnt holding the rod and reel further up enough in my hand, now im holding it more forward and feathering with my thumb below the knuckle rathr than the tip of it , if tat makes sense. I mean have two fingers above the trigger rat her than one

Trout love silver aglias. Always use wire trace. Never know when a pike might turn up. Nothing like a light set up 😉

But, please, don't use light tackle when there is a chance of a bigger fish......For the sake of the fish we chase.
@lexingtonlad57454 жыл бұрын
@@grahamgfm I normally use 10lb mono and a wire trace when spinning and ajust line tension depending on the fish drag.

I'm surprised more grayling aren't taken on lures in this country. It's common practice in Europe and the European record was taken on an ABU Droppen

Paul, what bag do you use for this type of fishing...?
@riverpiker4 жыл бұрын
Hi mate. I actually just use a standard rucksack on my back because i have to carry other stuff like camera gear etc so it's overkill for just tiny lures. Ideally you just want a tiny shoulder bag or you may even get away with a small box that fits in a pocket.
