Been searching for ways to restore the silver driver on my ES350 ‘09 for days. This video came the closest. I think first we need to clear out that it’s not aluminum, it’s not chrome, it’s chrome plated ABS plastic. Now, let’s find the solutions for it. No luck so far. 😣

Is this relatively the same procedure with the m157?

Oil pans are angled inside so that the most oil comes out when the car is level. That’s why dealerships use level lifts when changing oil.

Great video! Quick question, was the car in comfort suspension setting for final product on the video? Can you show us how the car on other settings would look like? Thanks again
@DriveTalkCars2 күн бұрын
The suspension isn’t adjustable through the different settings. Just the firmness, meaning how hard or soft it rides

Pretty good on the front. I had a pit of an issue with the rear though. He kept falling down. Not sure if it was the rear defroster or not.

I can see how an oil change is more expensive on this car than a regular car. But estimated 1000 dollars for an oil change is insane. Doing it yourself shouldn’t be more than 200 I don’t think.

My AMG (GLC43) has two cabin air filters. One inside the vehicle on the passenger side and another under the hood overtop the battery. You remove the plastic battery cover and hovering above the battery is a plastic frame holding another filter...Not many people know about this one!

Home serviced with Delphi or Bosch parts, A service 60, B, 90 euro. 500, and 800 at Mercedes and they actually break stuff. 56 euro, TRW camber arm. 220 Euro, Mercedes. Plastics or trim parts? Take OEM. Mechanical parts, go for a known quality aftermarket. Older model? Most are refurbished OEM parts no matter what the name.

great tutorial, love your channel , this 2 part series helped me inmensely om how to remove and disassemble the number, tip: sandpaper should always be submerged in water until the paper absorbers the water and becomes soft, this will prevent the edges from being to abrasive a cutting uneven and will be less aggressive, always use a block, fingers tend to leave marks, in some colors more than others.

Keep in mind if you have lowered one of these up to 1.5" you are going to need to get creative when it comes to jacking. Most scissor jacks will go no lower than 4" and that is about where the jack points will be. Don't wait to find out with a flat out on the road...with a flat tire it will be even lower.

I have 125000 miles in my car they say its not good to change transmission oil on high miles cars. Is this true
@mratlrАй бұрын
A service properly done is much more than that. Its a total inspection of suspension, drive train , brakes( remove tires and inspect inner pads also ) belts and pulleys. Coolant test , brake fluid test. Check fluids. Lube hinges ,function test wipers and jets , align jets. Cabin filter and fuel injector additive. Older cars , 112 , 113 , literally remove plugs and check at least 1. Rotate and balance tires if needed. A properly done Service B takes a least 2.5 hours. Its not an oil and cabin filter change.

You may be able to assign your Start/Stop function to the Diamond button on your steering wheel. Some Panameras can and some can't. I assigned mine to raise the vehicle since I have lowered it. Great video!

clay bars cost WAY to fkin much money for what they are. Synthetic clay blocks/ towels are a better way to go, as long as they are not stupidly high priced either. and they work pretty well most of the time, compared to actual clay.

Why didn't u do the battery registration to the system ? Is it not needed to prevent the car from running erratic or whatever after u change the battery ??
