This is the ULTIMATE muscle car. I think it’s the best way to describe my experience with my ‘15 Rapide S. The sound with valves open in Sport mode and the profile view are the best parts. For sportier driving, I would recommend 2013+ Vanquish.

I LOVE my amr rapide s. It’s the smoothest ride I’ve ever driven! It beats any car out there since it has a lagonda ltd! ❤

Great video! As a Rapide S owner I find your walkthrough nice. Perhaps a little more focus on the handbuilt details and the level of quality and craftmanship would've been nice!

Noticed that too when I was a passenger in Jet 2. Rapide chassis but uniquely built as a shooting brake. Finish was not at the standard I thought it might be but was told that was cause it was all hand built. Fair enuf I guess.

what quirk? Sunroofs are very expensive to repair or replace and usually have more issues than usage

You can't get a sunroof in the Rapide..It was just not offered from factory

I’m in love with these. The world needs more super sedans covered in leather 🔥

great car and review the only and last aston to have

all manufacturers easily bury sedans in favor of SUVs, it's sad. for me, 4-door coupes are the most perfect cars, both beautiful and practical. thank God that Audi, Mercedes, BMW and Porsche have not given up on this idea yet. look at how an rs7 looks, a panamera, an amg 4 door coupe, an 8 series gran coupe, even the e-tron gt is amazing! perfect cars from all points of view. Just imagine how a new version will look with the new interior and the db12 design cues...

How reliable has it been? Would love one but if it ends up costing alot to run i might as well buy something faster and newer
@sidelnie5 ай бұрын
Mine is reliable so far. If you can get a low miles one that was well-maintained, you won’t regret it. But if you are craving “faster”, get something else. This is experience car, you can enjoy it without driving balls to the wall
@sysdir3 ай бұрын
@@sidelnie I don't agree with the "low miles" part. These machines were built to be used and not sit in garages (or museums). If it's well maintained a higher milage can be preffered

@@sysdir I rented a 2011 Rapide on Turo with 63K. It was low on oil and as I was hammering on it, the engine threw a rod through the engine case and it died. After that I thought it was important to buy a low mileage, well-maintained unit, which is what I did. Also, the dealer told me NOT to shut off the engine until the coolant reaches operating temperature. This will prevent the issues with disintegrating primary catalyst, which can get sucked into the engine and kill it. I know it’s rare, but it would be good if prior owners followed this advice which is only possible to ensure on a well-maintained, low mileage unit that was suburban-based (I.e., no short trips to town). My 2 cents.
