Bob Daisley and Randy Rhoade’s chemistry was crucial in how brilliant those first two Ozzy solo albums are

Duff was a punk kid. He realized he was out of key and tempo and fixed it quick. He’s one of the best. Also this is around the time he relapsed on drugs (not alcohol; he’d die). Read his book it’s inspiring! He might be the most important part of GNR arguably!

I love Bill Ward.. Black Sabbath sounds best with Bill and Geezer making that sonic doom we all crave.. They spawned a whole genre out of this. Praises!

Imagine going to Ozzfest in ‘96. It’s still early in the afternoon and you’re on your 4th $3 coors light (absolute extortion for beer in Clinton’s America) as you’re waiting’s for Monster Magnet or whatever later in the evening and this firehose of rage blasts you in the face. Your life is changed forever. You’re fucked.

Randy must look down at Zakk playing this and just smile from ear to ear. Ozzy has just had the best guitarists of all time with him. Jake E Lee, Randy, Zakk.

Nikki definetly knew Randy. Nikki auditioned for Quiet Riot when Kelli Garni was fired. Randy said OK were playing this in the key of A. Nikki looked at him and said what's that. Randy told him he diddnt have time to teach him how to play bass they needed someone now . And Rudy sarzo ended up with the gig.
