Never thought of cleaning my line! I used a product for years to reduce the memory in my line and lubricate the guides. Great video!

I’ve seen so many KZbin videos for fishing, and I’ve found your channel. Is this a sign to start fishing? 🎣

6.1 actually better for Carolina rigging,people tend to over work the bait with the higher speed reels. Rob
@jamesniggemeyerfishing3432Күн бұрын
Depends on the way one works it, I slow sweep / drag it with the rod tip and the pick up the slack with the reel.

Hey James, one of my favorite ways to fish the frog is slow,but you don’t get the action out of the feet you need…. I take those nail weights and put them across the feet/paddles. That extra weight allows me to fish slower but also gives me more action with feet…. Try it and see if you don’t catch a few bigger fish…. Fish it as slow as you can.

Hey James….very interesting set up. The only I think is that you can’t use a 4” or longer swimbait, I’d think that unless they were inhaling it you get a lot of short strikes without the hook up. Thanks as always for the tip…🍻🍻
@jamesniggemeyerfishing34325 күн бұрын
It is pretty innovative for sure. It’s surprising how many fish will eat a swimbait head first though
@josephhrnciar93765 күн бұрын
Interesting….in that case it’s a great set up!! I always think they’re hitting the back but head first that’s a winner!!

They could stand to make an Electric Shad color and hopefully a 3.5" and a 7". But I agree, they are very underrated.

I've got a college fishing tournament tomorrow, ill make sure to give this a shot mid day once that morning bite wears off. tossing this in brush piles and under docks will defiantly come in clutch, especially after the recent front. Might work better compared to a worm considering I'm in Louisiana and crayfish are a staple of bass diets. Thanks for bring this to my attention.

Where can you find those at what store did I know what you were talking about is called yo-yo 🪀
@jamesniggemeyerfishing343212 күн бұрын
Yes, you can yo-yo the bait but a lot of guys are throwing it out and letting it sink to the bottom and ripping it or stroking it up off the bottom and letting it fall

The 2.5 I have actually used a wacky hook and nose hooked it, works well
