Trujillo is one of the best bassists of all time. I understand that he's too good for Metallica, and I agree. But I also think, if that's what he wants to do, that's great. He definitely deserves the money and if he's happy, I'm happy for him. He did some amazing sh*t with Infectious Grooves and with Suicidal and nothing is gonna take away from that.

This sounds goofy as hell. People just wanna lie and say the bass is great because he’s riding with Metallica now. The bass sounds flat and out of tune honestly. Sounds almost like 1930’s swinging music

Gosh you don’t realize how truly great Rob is until you go back and listen to suicidal or infectious grooves….i won’t say he’s wasting his talent in Metallica like most say cause cliff burton was no slouch and it takes one hell of a bass player to fill those shoes
