Infectious Groove is like Primus, the bass is very audible and loud with the bassist player Bein very high skill (both Les Claypool and Rober truijro are very skilled bass players), but the difference is the song style, and even though both bands are from different genres, they are the same in the lyrics and humor of the songs: very goofy and silly while being really serious at the same time (with Infectious bein more to the silly part than the serious part). Also Infectious Grooves kick ass alot, probably the most badass funk Metal band ever!

People just now realizing this guy can actually play bass always crack me up. Most professional bassists are incredible musicians with an insane amount of discipline and humility because they are willing to not be front and center with some wild guitar solos that they could definitely play but they lay back and do the fundamentals because they know they can do it well. That's the case most of the time believe it or not.

He wasn't in the situation to do half of that stuff before.
