Not a huge fan of Metallicas lesser works. But, Rob was a pretty decent replacement after Cliff and Jayson. His work in Suicidal and Infectious Grooves speaks for itself!
@blppt Жыл бұрын
This is one of the reasons why we are damned lucky that Metallica turned down Les Claypool---Lars and James neuter the bassists they've had post-cliff. And to be fair, the music doesn't really support wild bass playing like you hear here. Les never would have become as legendary as he is now. Trujillo is on that level of technicality, but you'd never know it if you only listened to his Metallica days.
