Imagine developing early 2000s-style horror games using Unreal Engine or other advanced game development tools, only to play them on an old TV. The game's environment becomes even more realistic, delivering the ultimate nostalgic vibes of the early 2000s.

21:36 The TV sound output issue may be due to a misalignment with the plug. What I mean is those metal sections on the plug may not align with the corresponding output metal on the plug of the device. Sometimes this is due to the device allowing you to insert too deep or the molding around the plug prevents the plug from going as far as it needs to properly. Try fiddling with how deep you press the plug or open the unit up and fiddle with the plug and port while open.

Welli wish you || just tested all consoles with composite video and with but chrome filter and smooth filter on to see how much a difference it could make. In fact i found it magic how this adaptor cannot only turn that signal back into digital but even smooth’s things up while enhancing composite video and all in realtime. This is something i could,ve only dreamed off about it 20 years ago.

Finally someone admits that putting thick black emulator lines on PC game is ridiculous, but you don't need to put the other lines too, it's not a TV game, you shouldn't count the lines some specific old monitor used since Doom runs perfectly fine on modern screens. You're basically adding a crosshatch pattern at this point, but 3D computer games were designed to be played at whatever equipment you had, it's not an arcade that comes with a specific screen! I ran Doom on 14 inch round square, on 17 Inch flat CRT, on small laptop LCD, or a modern monitor, all of these are NATIVE platforms for it, since it's a PC game. Just run a sourceport and add a texture filter if needed. PC games ALWAYS had visible pixels.

After using the analogue pocket and devices like the Evercade, it's hard for me to use these handhelds.

This kind of gaming device would be suitable for prisons. Some prisons here in the States allow inmates to buy gaming handhelds similar to yours off of commissary. Of course it would come in a clear transparent case and likely sold under a different brand. Of course games that featured any sort of violence or use of firearms would be removed.

Heh yeah I remember seeing a Techmoan video about that kinda stuff years ago. Clear plastic TV and everything.

Do they allow a combustible lithium battery inside a prison? It's probably not a good idea.

They should have made a tritium photovoltaic battery where basically its a solar cell with a tritium light so that the light would charge the solar cell and produce voltage enough to power the quartz watch movement so that it can run for 30+ years without changing batteries by then you wont want that watch anymore. This is a realy cool watch It looks real simple to repair battery changes and seal change simple it will last many years, I would have got the automatic mechanical movement

What happens when you start the rom image with no CD? Do you get a menu still or black screen? I am getting a black screen. Sega CD is reading the disc. Shows it playing in the CD dash with no cart in and always red when selecting the doom rom... 32x CD games work fine.

I did not have a lot have money as a youngster to buy games so I used walk to my local video store and rent movies and N64 games for much lower prices than larger stores like Blockbuster. They would give a free popcorn bag and a drink if you rent at least two videos or one game. The store has long been closed and is now replaced with a bank. Shout out to seeing Rick Moranis, one of my favorite actors from my childhood.

This is a game I like to call Crash And Flip, that would've been a more appropriate title for this game, after all, that's pretty much the main focus of this game, isn't it?

You're in a consignment store. It's like an offline ebay. The booths have to pay a fee. That's probably why the prices are too high. since the sellers want to compensate for their fees. Maybe the stuff actually moves, so they don't see anything wrong with their prices. I know Canadians are used to paying more for games. 12:36 I checked the price of Ninja Warriors complete, and it seems like it can range from 450-600, but sometimes even 900-1000, all based on condition, of course.

This brought back nostalgic memories. I remember playing COD4 on my Xbox 360 back in 2008 and later on my Dell XPS 410 equipped with a Core 2 Duo, 4 gb ram and a GeForce 7900. A good gaming rig at the time. I remember you had a video of your PC build with a Core 2 Duo E8400 with an ATI HD 4870 card. My retro XP PC build has a Core 2 Duo E8400 but no GPU yet. Any recommendations?

Been there once, just this past fall. Lots of nice stuff buy holy shit is this place expensive. Almost everything was "what's this selling for on ebay? Ok that's what I'll charge." I spent about 3 hours there and spent just $10. Could have easily spent $1000 if the prices weren't so high.
