Seriously thanks!! Text Blaze is going to save me a ALOT of time. And thanks for the content. I found you by looking for data science info. I've spent my 30 year career in something I was just meh about. I love numbers and data - seriously thinking of going back to school for data science.

I believe DS is the last profession to be replaced by AI since we build AI (or at least setup/apply ha ha)

Do you think its honestly possible to learn machine learning by yourself without a degree? Most jobs want masters/PhDs.

I have to increase the sound volume to 54% just to understand you, your voice is deep and very low. I suggest you speak louder and audible.

AI will likely increase the demand for data scientists. The job will likely change. But it's still a valuable skillset to have.

IT Enterprises are not going to give AI full autonomy to go out in a large infrastructure, discover cron/windows sched jobs/bat/cmd/perl/bash/kshell/applications/databases/security/AD/acls etc. A human will be there discovering and using AI to move in some direction.

unironically one of the best videos in this genre ive seen so far and ive seen TONS. if anyones reading this, the best tip u wouldnt expect to work is getting work done early in the morning. i think of myself as a night owl but the human brain doesnt seem to agree with me on this lol. the way it works is your dopamine store (willpower) depletes over th course of the day so it is MUCH harder to be productive after being awake for several hours, ESPECIALLY if you were doing something fun beforehand. this is why it feels impossible to study after playing video games. simply reshuffle ur schedule to leave the fun things later in theday i promise u wont regret it. another tip not mentioned in the video from so good they cant ignore you is that the better you get at something the more you enjoy it, which i find insanely true. i used to despise studying before medical school but once i actually got "good" at it and got some expertise under my belt, i actually feel fulfilled after studying instead of dread and despair

I have the same existential concerns, wondering what is worth spending time on. I'm a clinical data analyst for a hospital and looking to get into more technical data science type stuff so I'm not easily replaced, but at the same time knowing that new knowledge can still be obsolete. The soft skills are definitely important such as the ability to communicate complex technical ideas in a simple way.
@Jacob_Maz3 ай бұрын
Yes, I definitely relate. It's hard to decide which skills to even invest in as new tech comes out monthly that seems to replicate them. The good thing about data analysts are that we'll always need humans to communicate patterns as you mentioned, so let's hope for a best-case scenario future.

Kudos to you for reading such things at an early age. I did the same via philosophy texts at the age of 11/12. Even though those books may have had an adverse effect, youve learnes a lot.of valuable lessons from them. Good on you. 😊

I dont think Data Science is dying. On the human resource side of it, I dont think it is dying anytime soon too. Ive been working on Analytics since 2015 and believe me a lot of companies are still behind in terms of technology and having to transition them into something that can be automated will be a great undertaking and will take years to do. btw, I dont know why this vid showed up on my suggested vids. 😅 wish you all the best!
@Jacob_Maz3 ай бұрын
Yeah I agree, small businesses will probably not be able to even afford the infrastructure to implement fully automated systems for decades. Thanks for watching and supporting though, I appreciate it!
