I actually bag the pig and the zone. Being in KS I switched to the pig as my putter because of the wind. It feels better as a putter than the zone. I do love the zone for forehand approach shots as I like the shallow feel of it. Just got a star pig so I'm going to start throwing it and see if it becomes my new go to approach disc.

I have two holes at my local course where this disc is a cheat code. Took two or three strokes immediately off my scorecard because every time I throw it has the perfect flight of push then heavy fade. Love how it skips too.

Clash Mango is OS but definitely not a 4 fade, much closer to a 3 imo I love that you talked about the overlap between an approach disc and an OS mid, my take is this: both need reliable fade but too much overstabily turns to dump and not as much distance which is the only reason to have a 5 speed mid over a 4 speed approach. Having both doesn't make sense for me so instead i have a solid stable mid (guava). Reliable pushing fade but doesn't dump and flies straight way longer than a zone which gives me more distance and minimizes overlap

MALTA! I remember when you guys hated on the Malta in a previous video so I am not surprised it didn’t get mentioned. Props to y’all for not jumping on the pre bandwagon…because it’s coming. Ezra Robinson will put it on the map. I’ve thrown it since 2020. Got my first Ace with one. Underrated in my opinion.

Im the only person in my area who bags a recluse. Definitely a beefcake but its been in my bag long enough that its way less stable than it used to be, still fights back if not given too much angle(forehand)

Just picked up a halo roc3 and no mid range has ever fit more perfectly in my bag. Can rip it at almost full power and send it dead straight through a 10ft gap with a consistent fade at the end.

K1-soft Jarn, Runway and Reactor are in the bag. Runway flies like, and feels very similar to both a Pyro and a SL Balance. Mango comes in and out. Love overstable mids.

I’ve tried dozens of OS mids and approach discs, (even the Mango)… nothing touches the MVP Deflector. Also, I have no good things to say about the Mango.
