I've studied ITBs for a decade. There are three notable strategies. 1. Buhr/Lizotte one disc per necessary slot, very few repeat molds 2. McBeth adds a second copy of most molds/slots slightly more or less beat in 2. Wysocki limited molds but as many as possible of each I use the McBeth mostly to wear in backups, but I treat my bag like Buhr/Lizotte for scoring rounds. My bag has never stayed the same long enough for the Wysocki; no way I could get eight of one mold distinguishably beat in.

If you just found out that Isaac and Ezra are not prodigy sponsored anymore…you should listen to the Swanky Disc Golf Show!

Quite weird since she is probably the "smallest arm" on tour. Most pros would even tell someone with her distance to not throw destoyers

Ezra has been putting with the DGA sonar. 3/4/0/2

i was hoping for more numbers, like average flight numbers for drivers, beads vs beadles, that kind of stuff. who throws the most overstable discs? who throws the most understable discs? how does their disc golf style affect their bags? average number of mids, fairways, drivers?

Great info thanks. I've only been playing about 6 months now. I carry 25 discs, of those 5 have duplicates in different plastics my main driver and mid I have 3 of each. I have an understable, neutral, and overstable for putt, approch, mid, and driver. 100% MVP bag.

Makes sense when the backhand dominant guys like the Robinson's carry less.

Beaded vs unbeaded for putting putters probably more relevant than their flight numbers

My biggest takeaway is that whats tried and true will hardly every change. Unless they are breaking in another disc they are very clearly working with seasoned disc's even when they switch sponsors they will get seaonsed discs from other players in that brand or ones they have thrown in the past. Work with what you have. "New" doesn't always mean better.

I'm old enough to remember when most pros didn't bag a Zone or similar overstable approach disc. Old pros used to just finesse approaches with a putter and thought Zones were junk.

Are the pros putting with p2s still? Cause I think it's now the link or the rainmaker
@NastaboiКүн бұрын
Anttila and Hyytiäinen use stiff P1s. Those who like beaded put with Link or the new P2x.

Really great content idea! You all should yry to flush out more data from this, like how many players bags lean more understable vs overatable. Ive heard Matt O talk about throwing "glidey discs". Ill bet the majority backhand players look different than those that are 50/50 bh/fh.

But why 15 or even 7 destroyers unless lots of water features? I get there's different weights and stages of beat in but can someone give a better explanation? Im honestly curious.
@Mikenewton4lКүн бұрын
Pro arm speeds are completely different than that of an am. Destroyers depending on the run and wear will fly completely differently in various conditions. In some cases they will bag a bunch but only throw a few in tournaments and use the others in practice rounds so they have some beat in discs for back ups.

I would say 10+ of same mold you just want to sound different, cool, make a name of urself
