I think the Thought Space Mantra could be in this list. Smaller community, and people have paid lots of money for special Mantras, especially the first run. Hundreds of dollars in some cases.

Same. Only started in June but that disc in my hand was an eye opening experience.

Harp is not replaceable in my bag, easily my most important mold. I own 5 harp and bag 4 of them, all fly little bit different. 6 of my 12 aces have been with harps and i throw all my upshots with harps. Especially the 2022 sockibomb Vip ice glimmer harp, that run is the best disc ever made!

Hardly anyone in my area throws a Hex it's my go to but for some reason everyone thinks the buzz is better
@chengiggler2 күн бұрын
I lost my buzz and then got a hex. I'm sticking with the hex.

Both are good but Hex’s are typically a little less stable than a Buzzz.

I was an all Westside bag for the logest time. I've jumped on the bandwagon and throw mostly MVP/Axiom now but, I still bag a VIP-X Harp and an Orbit Hatchet. Can't find other discs in that slot that I'm as comfortable with.

food for thought....for a community that in general seems pretty chill about just about everything....people get super worked up about brand of plastic as if there is objective truth to their claims. The minimum amount of research leads you to the objective fact that the plastic used to make discs all come from the same exact source.....it gets melted down and forced into medal molds that are virtually identical....yet people will get up in arms about their brand. I've thrown about all main line company's and many smaller ones and they all have comparable stuff and have the same consistency issues.

@monkeybull4452 күн бұрын
The thing with the Epic is that the widest point of its rim exceeds the maximum thickness allowed by the PDGA Technical Standards. Its thinnest point does and as a result it was approved back in the day. Nowadays an identical disc wouldn’t be approved because of the rim thickness but the Epic is grandfathered in. The rim thickness on the ET I and II are within the Technical Standards all the way around and therefore passed.
