Thanks, I had a lot of practice! In this video I used the Albinauric Shield (you can farm it near the Raya Academy, but FYI its dropping chance is low). Another medium good shield to block and parry is the golden Brass Shield (base game), Messmer's Soldier Shield (DLC, good fire resistance), etc. Different enemies have different animations (timing window) to parry. Katanas have a unique tricky delay. It's very fast dropping, but it also has a short delay before lunging forward. You will notice it after getting hit by them many times. The universal cue is always their hands: when it starts swinging forward at us. Oh, Carian Retaliation and Golden Parry has the same amount of frames to parry. The only difference is that Golden Parry can 'hit' further distance BUT it consumes FP. It's still a good parry AOW tho. But personally I only use the Golden Parry when the enemies have a WEIRD HITBOX or hectic movement/environment. To name the few: Tree & Dragon Sentinels, Messmer, Romina the Saintbud, etc.

I haven't tried it but what I know so far is that bleed status (can also be stacked together with frost) is the best against Mohg. For example, on main hand you have bleed weapon and off hand you have a frost weapon. That if you're powerstancing (dual wield). If you're not, can also use one weapon with bleed or frost by default, then use additional grease or incant.

@@DJWILL1994 What do you mean yellow rain? Hmm was it the Mohg's Shackle (an item) that make him helplessly down for a few seconds? It's a reusable consumable item designed specifically by the devs to bind him. We can do it 2 times before Mohg reached his NIHIL phase.

At the end of the video I gave my setup, but even that can still be tweaked a little bit more with another 1-2 related boosting talismans.

Yup they're very tanky boss-like. Almost the same as the smith in the forge dungeon, but these warriors can break in only 2 spears (the smith will go down with 3 spears in a row).

Lol great idea to torture people! We actually had that kind of duo in Ancient Ruin of Rauh with 2 horned warriors in a watery gazebo. You can fight them 1 by 1 or 2 of them simultaneously. I tried both, and yeah they're brutal fast and wasted no second in ganking you. It's fun though, learn to spacing and parry 1 of them with the tiny gap of their reach.

Indeed! They are deadly and unique, like the Crucible Knights. The only difference is that their HP are much lower than regular bosses. Btw what's your approach in fighting these guys?

That can be done too, provided your build and weapon can produce maximum damage in such a short time.

I think it was Iron Rivet armor. You need to beat the secret boss called Red Bear.

My guess is that you have low faith or magic resistance. Better use the boost HP talisman to make room for mistake in parrying. Quickly roll backward and run to heal, then fight again.

@@thepainphantom same! Currently on my main I'm rocking the bear hood, Rakshaka armor, and elden lord pants as well as the red bear claws and smithscrypt appear or igon's greatbow, rocking a rough and tumble hunter.

@@Xarxes_ The AoW is devastating in PvP, and it's not just the lethal damage. If you got caught in just 1 claw hit, you stagger and helpless for another 2 claws hit. That should bring down even the most HP player (2K health). I tested it on the arena. It's crazy.

Tbh I died a dozen times first to learn his pattern lol. It's hard but it's not impossible. Just need to be "smart" and especially: be patient!

I have it, haven't used it much. People use various methods to play the game. For me, I like to use critical hits, parrying and riposte.

I can agree with that. But I think people just need time to adapt. I fight with all of the enemies, they are shockingly hard initially. But after a while, it gets easier (not easy). I even do parry and riposte (if available), not cheesing my way with OP weapons.

Congrats!! I agree!.The DLC bosses have longer deadly combos. They're really testing our patience. I think even me sometimes don't have the time to keep replaying it like 50+ times per boss. The devs really gave their outmost efforts to torture players! I feel you, the areas are well-hidden and need more than just a walk in the park.

How you kill is up to you. I was showing the route and the field condition. I play however I want. I love to brawl (but still be quite efficient). You're not my dad :) I actually got the item in the first attempt as I shown in this video. My discovery point was 200 low. I got really lucky.

I haven't done Messmer and Radahn. I keep exploring regions without progress to final bosses yet. What progression done in here? Major boss I saw was centipede lady? Is she the progress you meant?

What progression to the story is being done in this area? I don't recall I obtained unique item(s) to be used for something to progress.

I hope you're enjoying your playthrough! YES! There is well hidden areas under our starting region. You can reach it by jumping down near a waterfall, using that tomb-like steps. Just pay attention to your surroundings and keep exploring to far corner. I won't give spoilers this time.
