Shadow of the Erdtree is Hard, Esp This Area (FUN times!)

Hey guys! Today I want to share what I think (so far) is one of the hardest areas in the Shadow Lands map. What's special about this place is that this area is hidden behind Shadow Castle and has many unique powerful field enemies.
If you're into exploring and fighting all of the enemies, you can train in this secret/secluded area called the Ancient Ruins of Rauh by continuously beating them with skills (e.g: parrying etc). This area also has some significant loots and optional bosses. The top of the mountain view is also gorgeous! Have fun!

That was annoying for sure. If I hadn’t been as blessed as I was I don’t think I could have fought them in the arena with my melee build.

I love all the divine warriors. My favorite are the Divine Bird Warriors. Movesets, weapons, fashion on point, great incantations.

I also love the bird armor! I think I found 2 of them. One in the starting region and one in the Northern area where the Great Red Bear is.

Thanks! It's really fun and the new colossal hammer hits hard. Esp the weapon skill has devastating stance damage. But it's a long ass charge if use in fast pace scenario like PvP or smaller enemies.

I fiished the DLC few days ago. There are non hard areas in my opinion atleast. The only hard part in the DLC are the bosses who are super aggressive with long combos. I died between 100 annd 150 times in total. Alot from gravity from exploring and most boss deaths go to Radahn.

Congrats!! I agree!.The DLC bosses have longer deadly combos. They're really testing our patience. I think even me sometimes don't have the time to keep replaying it like 50+ times per boss. The devs really gave their outmost efforts to torture players! I feel you, the areas are well-hidden and need more than just a walk in the park.

its not hard if you have a back hand blade, it makes the game so easier

I have it, haven't used it much. People use various methods to play the game. For me, I like to use critical hits, parrying and riposte.

I haven't done Messmer and Radahn. I keep exploring regions without progress to final bosses yet. What progression done in here? Major boss I saw was centipede lady? Is she the progress you meant?

@@SocksyyAU Um isn't that's just optional loots for fallen Great Rune boss. I was asking about this OP question: "how is this secret when it's required for progression?" What progression to the story is being done in this area? I don't recall I obtained unique item(s) to be used for something to progress.
