You made this cam look beautiful man. I really gotta learn how to post process in log. But if i do that i may as well learn how to use my iphone 15 pro max to its max potential too. BUT the gimbal and ease of use really opens up the creative world. Man idk

How come GoPro could put better stabilization in a cheap camera in 2018 than what we get today in 1000$ cameras 😅
@PurposedLensPhotoMedia18 күн бұрын
Pretty simple answer. The GoPro is designed to be an action camera. This means it’s main purpose is capture a WIDE field of view however, this wide angle lens creates barrel distortion (fish eye look). Go Pro crops in on that image to stabilize it. That’s it. What the GoPro has in stabilization, it lacks in image quality and other features. So both these devices have totally different use cases. If you need a super stable device that can get tossed around get a GoPro. If you vlog, get the DJI Osmo Pocket 3. If you want a hybrid camera to capture photos and videos get the ZV-E10. The camera fits the use case. Thanks for watching. 👍🏾

@PurposedLensPhotoMedia I've been filming on GoPros for years, just bought the zv e10, I'm really disappointed with the image stabilization. I'm thinking of returning it and just buying the Osmo pocket 3. I think the shaky footage looks so terrible, I don't want to be taking out and packing up a gimbal constantly when I'm on vacation. Tried catalyst browse but you can't have any motion blur or Bokeh, Which is basically the reason you want a camera like this.

Thank you so much. I am on the verge of buying my first camera and I was looking into getting the fx30. I needed this breakdown. I’m tech savvy and I have no doubt I can learn this but it’s a lot. So would you recommend the ZvE10 ii or A6700 for my first camera?
@PurposedLensPhotoMedia10 күн бұрын
That’s a great question!The FIRST question to ask yourself if what will you be shooting with it? Will you be shooting photos as well or strictly video? The FX30 is 100% geared for shooting professional video! Not much support for photos. It also have ZERO issues with overheating because it's STRICTLY made for video. The other cameras are Hybrid cameras and offer no cooling because they are't built to record video continuously. I would 100% NOT get the MKii SV-E10 as the price isn't fair for what you actually get! (this is my opinion) I would get the A6700 over the MKii ZV-E10. I hope this helps! Thanks for watching! 👍🏾

I have this camera. I like it, but I hate the stupid gimbal. It’s basically uncontrollable for me. I wish it would stay still.😢
@PurposedLensPhotoMedia13 күн бұрын
I have heard some say they wish there was a permanent LOCK on the gimbal. A decent workaround for me has been to change the rotational speed to FAST and the gimbal mode to FPV. This almost makes the camera seem like it doesn't have a gimbal on it. You may want to give it a try and see if it fits what you are looking for. I hope this helps! Thanks for watching and leaving feedback!👍🏾

Your videos are doing great! I have the ZVE10 mark ii and my only worry is overheating. I do have my settings set at 4k 8bit at 30fps to try and keep that from happening. I dont do color grading I just add Leeming LUTs.
@PurposedLensPhotoMedia13 күн бұрын
You may want to look into getting a fan for your Mkii ZV-E10. Smallrig sells a pretty good fan that works with a number of different cameras. They include different fitment rings that allow the fan to work for specific cameras. (check that it fits the MKii ZV-E10 though) I hope this helps! Thanks for watching!👍🏾

Are you tubers being paid to say its good.
@PurposedLensPhotoMedia19 күн бұрын
That's an interesting, loaded question however, I will answer it as best as I can. 1.) I cannot speak for what other KZbinrs are doing or what/if they are being paid. I have no way of knowing this info and am in the same boat as you when it comes to being privy to their lives. 2.) EVERYTHING I say on THIS channel I stand behind 100%. I am not a gear peddler or a gear hustler. I am a working photographer and videographer who uses ALL the things I talk about on my channel in my actual client work. 3.) I STARTED this channel based on a question. That question was can you shoot a whole wedding by yourself. The MAJORITY of the video has NOTHING to do with gear, it's only the last 2-3 minutes I even talk about gear and it's not telling anyone WHAT to buy, it's telling folks to get to know their gear. 4.) KZbinrs who put effort into their videos SHOULD be compensated for the WORK that it takes to make these videos! It's a COMMON misconception that KZbin is EASY and doesn't cost the creator anything, or that a company just sends creators things because they want them to sell it. In order to even be on a company's radar one has to have exceptional work and prove that they can bring an audience and bring value.... ALL of this take WORK and EFFORT! If you are looking at reviews on KZbin and the DJI is being praised, it's because it IS a good camera. My only suggestion would be to be CAREFUL of channels that CONSTANTLY talk about cameras and switching and comparing. Ask yourself; "What have I learned AS A SKILL that I didn't know before I clicked on this video." If you come away and ALL you know are features, then that video made you CAMERA smart, it didn't make you FUNCTIONALLY smarter (which is where it ACTUALLY matters!) MOST cameras nowadays are MORE THAN ENOUGH to get what you need out of them and the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 is NO exception! This is my opinion based on my experience as a videographer and my experience with the DJI Osmo Pocket 3. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching.

Excellent video!! Thank you for sharing. Can you share the settings used to achieve the look you have for this video. It’s exactly what I’m going for. Like did you use a certain type of lens sensor or video recording settings?
@PurposedLensPhotoMedia23 күн бұрын
Yes I can share my settings. I shot everything in D-log M making sure that I didn't clip my highlights. I used an ND filter to make sure I was able to keep my overall exposure within the limits of the camera's dynamic range as well. After I captured all of my footage, I then brought everything into Davinci Resolve to achieve the final look that I was going after. I am in the process now of creating a video on this very thing. I am planning for it to release shortly after Christmas. Stay tuned. Thanks for taking the time to watch and leave feedback!👍🏾

Hi,What do you think about Ordro m5?It looks like strong rival
@PurposedLensPhotoMedia23 күн бұрын
Honestly I am not a "Camera Review Guy" as I don't believe comparing camera bodies is all that important. I only review cameras that I have put my hands on and to help differentiate between those cameras. This is why you don't see Fuji, Panasonic, DJI, SONY, Canon , NIkon videos on this channel. A bunch of comparison videos is (in my opinion) USELESS to people who TRULY want to learn how to get better at photos and video. Specs and camera capabilities rarely make a HUGE impact on the final outcome of a photo or video in my opinion. Most cell phones (in good lighting) and higher end cameras are indistinguishable in MOST cases. Learning HOW to use a camera will have a MUCH GREATER impact than an extra feature here and there. The DJI Osmo Pocket 3 is a GREAT camera in my opinion and is a GREAT option for vlogging and social media use. There may be some BETTER spec cameras out there however, I don't think this will HUGELY impact the final outcome more than understanding HOW to use the camera will.. I hope this help! Thanks for watching.👍🏾

I subscribed on your video about the Sony 16-50 kit lens. I switched notifications to all because of this one. Yes, you give me the information I need, quickly and succinctly. But you also made me laugh and think. It's a good thing I don't really care about the subscriber count of the channel I want to start (it's for information sharing only, not to make money), because I could NEVER make videos as cool as this one.
@GrantSR25 күн бұрын
I just bought an a6700. I intentionally wanted this kit lens for several reasons: It is the least expensive power-zoom lens that Sony makes.... by FAR. I wanted at least one power zoom lens that I could adjust remotely, and this is the only one I will be able to afford for a very long time. It is even less expensive when bought as a kit lens, rather than buying it separately, even compared to used prices for this same lens. So, it made sense to get it in the kit, rather than get a different kit lens, or get a body-only, and buy some other lens. It is plenty wide enough for vlogging and zooms in far enough for decent portraits. (For vlogging, I use a short "monopod-ish" thing, with a small tripod on the bottom. That allows me to prop the tripod part on my hip, and only have to hold up the "monopod-ish" stick. That keeps the camera farther away, so my nose doesn't look any bigger than it already is. But also allows me to use the lens at closer to 20-25mm and still get all of me in the frame. And the shoulder of the arm that is holding the monopod is in a more natural position, so I don't have that "vlogging stance.") When the camera is off, it is a pretty darned compact lens. So, I can fit it in a smaller camera bag, that I can easily put into my regular backpack. Therefore, I can have it with me more of the time. It keeps my whole camera setup pretty light.
