Hi David, thank you so much for your honest review of Home Americas Conan Stan. My husband and are in the process of deciding whether or not to go on home America, celebrity, or the yacht club on MSC cruises. Your comments about the ship to dry dock and things not being corrected suchships on tables. I watch videos on KZbin and have learned that just because the ship goes into dry dock. It doesn’t mean that everything on the ship will be fixed. I don’t remember which cruise line this was from but I think it might’ve been Holland America when the ship gets revolutionized and then everything gets fixed on that ship. Maybe when it goes into the dry dog maybe only the washroom get replaced or the carpeting gereplaced and get fixed. So not everything on the ship gets refurbished. I really enjoyed your comments about the cabana. I’m trying to convince my husband to go for the cabana, but he says we’re always spending a lot of money to go on a cruise so he doesn’t wanna spend extra to get a cabana. If you go on an HAL cruise, I want to go in the cabana at least on the. It was good to hear that you get a Butl and the Butler will get you food from any part of the restaurants on the ship. Ja

I agree with the dessert thing. I find it odd that they ask for your dessert order when you are ordering your starters and mains, other cruise lines do that too though I have noticed. I guess it's more efficient for them or something? Im not sure. I know Princess doesn't ask for your dessert order right away, but MSC and NCL do if I recall correctly.

I have only been on Celebrity a few times but my diamond status on Royal Caribbean allowed me to status match into Celebrity's elite loyalty status.

Looks good, glad they're back and competitive. My last Celebrity cruise was in 2019, Blu on Eclipse, when they were having major supply chain shortage. No maple syrup after we left Canada, and no pineapple while we're docked in Hawaii? My main complaint was other than salads with minimal garnish, we went 12 nights with no vegetables. I even took an offer of half price specialty dining lunch, just to get a servicing of green beans.

I really love your video because my husband and I are thinking about going on either MSC yacht club, Celebrity cruises, or Holland America in Neptune suite. We are foodies so really good food is very important to us. I enjoyed all the delicious food that you had on your cruise. I especially want to try out the buffet on MSC yacht club. I have heard from other videos that the seafood served at the buffet on yacht club is excellent. The black cod sounded great.Thankyou

The VIVA was amazing when we were on it March 29th 2024, All food was top notch with exception of deserts, They cheeped out and most seemed like frozen or Powered MIX Base. Presentation was amazing but desert was poor, poor, poor for all restaurants.

Good grief, they supply Yoga mats !!!!!!! Do they think people exercise on a cruise . ? Honestly you get more than enough exercise walking to your pre breakfast breakfast, then Breakfast followed by your pre morning morning tea then your morning tea then your pre lunch lunch followed by lunch. Honestly you are so beggared after Lunch , you need a good long nap before your pre afternoon afternoon tea etc etc

If you have the premium drinks package I probably would opt for champagne instead of prosecco, but that's just me ;) Interesting insight anyhow. I was opting to try out the Hola last time, but then decided against it - looks good, though. I will be on the ship this Saturday again, I only ever had the pizza from the buffet area - will maybe try out a bit more this time :)

MSC is not my favorite cruise line but I enjoy them. I definitely think you got your money's worth.

Doing second sailing on her in Jan 2025 for 18 Hawaiian Circle cruise. We liked this ship and all it has to offer. Was on Zaandam in Feb 2023 for Panama Canal trip from Fl to San Diego. We did not enjoy this ship and found it to be our least favorite from HAL. Thanks for sharing.

My wife and I sailed on the Koningsdam last year. All I have to say is the food was terrible. The dining room service was slow and the buffet had very little selection of food. I'll give their food rating a 2. 👎👎👎👎
