I’ve been watching you for about 2 years now, and I am consistently astounded with how underrated you are, every time I watch a video of yours, I am always expecting you to have at least 100K subs and have blown up since your last post. You are BY FAR my favourite plant KZbinr, not just because of your goofy, bubbly personality, but you have a great sense of humour, a very wholesome relationship with your husband, and a very broad and in depth set of knowledge. Lot of love from Canada!

Fun video as always and as usual I learned something. 2 things. I got my first house plant w 1986, am always flooding saucers, and had never thought of using a turkey baster. You are a genius, thanks. I had also not known why lower leaves dies. Nitrogen is mobile. Hey! My plants and my furniture will love the turkey baster trick.

I love me some Repti bark too, aquarium sand too, I’d definitely try keiki paste on the lower bare stem of that first beauty, see if you can get some new growth, did it on my Hoya compacta where it was bare… completely filled in with new leaves!!! A road in Hawaii named “Ali’i drive” is pronounced Alee-ee, I wonder if that ficus plant is intended to be pronounced that way,

Congrats on the 100th video! My $0.02, but the pots without drainage holes might have issues over time with excessive salt buildup.
@vibe33394 ай бұрын
I have a question. 🤔Why you dont use the moss-off-technique? Where you do moist moss around the air roots direct under the leaves. To change air roots in Earth roots. Then you chop after some weeks under the earth roots to transfer the plant in the new pot. Now you have a bare stem, like before and only 1m before you have to work again to make something with that philo to stabilyse or make it nice to look. 🤔
@LkRn094 ай бұрын
Why didn’t you take the old wooden stake out of the gigantium?
@didsomeonesaypunk4 ай бұрын
Could you do a video (or should I ask have you done a video) about training your philodendrons UPWARD? I feel like my ladies are swimming sideways and yours look amazing ETA: I have moss poles and such but I overthink things so I think a video would be helpful so I’m not thinking about it for months (adhd)
@IRONWEED_4 ай бұрын
Are these crawling philodendrons? They can might climb if strongly encouraged to do so, but it goes against their nature.

I have repotted so many plants and was so afraid they wouldn't like it but they didn't mind at all. Just kept right on growing. But my sensation peace lily 😮 I have not tackled it yet. It is so big but it gets thirsty too quickly. I know it needs it but I am afraid I will break a leaf. 😢 it even bloomed last week.
@reallybigplant4 ай бұрын
Ah that’s awesome your repottings went so smoothly 💜😊 I also have a big thirsty peace lily that needs repotting! I’m happy yours is blooming :))) I bet you’ll be able to repot without problems! If you think a leaf might snap you could try waiting till the plant is just slightly wilted and then it may be a little more forgiving if you need to place it at odd angles during the repotting or end up thwacking it around a little. Best of luck! 😊✨🌱

I think I would propagate the plant looks very bare at the bottom. And cut off majority of those roots outside. My own opinion. One of the reasons i don’t buy aroids for there growing structures. I like buying plants that go with aesthetic to my home.
