i’m going on a fishing trip on the XL on May 22 of 2024 where is my grandson never been out there and wondering about what kind of gear are you need? I know they rent poles on the on the boat is it better for me to bring one of my own that you know maybe might be better I don’t know but maybe the polls on the XL might be just fine because anybody can help me with that.

My biggest yellowfin tuna 262lbs and over 3 hours of fight. That fish was a mean fish 5 times around boat. Also loss about 220lbs after 2 hours right at gaff.

2 ten days trips. Make sure you have 50w and 200lbs spectra with a 50-130 rod. Fish is up and down, wind on the outside circle. Breathe Breathe Breathe and relax. You are going to be in the fight for a couple of hours if it's a big tuna.
