Man. Now I want bacon. Jokes aside, that's a beautiful piece. I feel like it might've resulted in less wastage than a traditional blank might have - especially since it might be possible to use some of the other abstract pieces to make other bowls in the same manner.

Can I ask what seed pods are they from? Because I’ve never seen them before and they look very interesting if not a bit dangerous LOL.

Hell's bells; those look like Tiffany's would charge an arm and a leg for them. I really like the fact that they rhyme rather being identical.

I find the forethought in these videos very satisfying; like where the resin mould then becomes the gripping point for the lathe's chuck.

A bit late on viewing the video but you have helped me make my mind up on what saw to purchase. Appreciate your honest review. I did want to ask if you have the specs on the tables you built to compliment the saw table. They look perfect to hold bigger pieces of wood to run thru the saw. Appreciate it!

Beautiful. Even the lathe looks like a work of art, with is green paint job.

That's amazing. Half the enjoyment of these videos is thinking, "What the heck is he up to?"

I used to turn sweet gum balls into garlands and hanging ornaments for my room as a kid (my mom periodically threw them out because they were 'tacky'). I love that other people are using them for art too. They are like nature's little ornaments.

I was so confused when I saw how it was being cut. Then you started glueing it together, and I was amazed at howit fit so perfectly. Beautiful.

Resin opens up so many wonderful possibilities; though it obviously requires skill and artistry to bring them out. .

The first lid wasn’t bad, except the finial was too large. The finial is still too large for the second lid, plus the shape of the finial could’ve been more graceful. But it is a beautiful lidded bowl.
