Afterburner or not, use a 5000mah lipo and you wont need weight in front. in fact that is the very first time I ever heard of anyone needing to add weight to this model.

Good morning. Nice video. I would like to have the exact location of the centering point. the directions are not very clear. Some speak from the leading edge of the wing at root level. Else from the beginning of the canons. A clear indication would be welcome, the ideal would be a photo or a sketch. Thank you.

Never bank with your flaps down no matter what your airspeed is. I learned this the hard way too! Now I never put down flaps till I’m lined up to the runway and if for some reason I have to make another pass I put the flaps back up before I bank the turn … so rule of thumb Your flaps should only be used when your wings are flat with the horizon…. Hope this helps ya a little bit…

My guy has the skills to fly. That’s ruled out. This particular model has had a trend of sudden crashes. Fatguys (if any of you have seen his) was coming in on final and he was carrying speed yet out of nowhere it just drops a wing and plummeted in holy matrimony with the earth. In these two cases it was not pilot error. Something is going on with these f14 64s. Sorry about your model brother. Btw that Flysky fs10 is my favorite radio as well as the i6x and paladin. Flysky for life.

Tip: never use flaps on F14 with 50% ore more Speed. Jet will be stall and going down hard. Had Same Problem with my bigger F14 but No Crash. This smaller one do the Same. Gear down, trottle to 30-40% than flaps. And u will be fine 😊

@@hamiltonshangar I loved it. Sadly I lost orientation and crashed it in a backlit sunlight scenario and it’s pretty damaged now so I’m going to use the 80mm EDF in the Freewing Gripen ARF+ I just ordered. I got probably 40-50 flights on the Mirage though and was starting to get a little bored of it. It was a speed demon. Clocked it at 161mph once with my gps analyzer with a moderate tailwind. But it was really only good for high speed passes, some decent high alpha, and rolling like a drill bit. I’m much more excited for the Gripen with the thrust vectoring nozzle upgrade :)

Hi ! Do you see any difference when you fly without the ventral Fin Set? I am thinking to take them off because they break easily. Thanks
@hamiltonshangar3 ай бұрын
@@r.oltramare515 I do believe that it flies a bit more smooth, due to the less drag of the ventral fins, and makes potential belly landing easier, as well as lower passes. You don’t even notice that they are not there, same with the wing tips. Have a great day and thank you for watching!
