I cleaned my throttle body and my IAC , put everything back togther and everything runs good BUT my idle will NOT go below 1100 rpm. I checked for vacuum leaks and could not find one anywhere that would cause a higher idle. Can i turn the big idle screw on the side of the throttle body to lower the idle? I did notice before i took my throttle body off the IAC would get really hot to the touch very fast after starting. It was definitly in need of cleaning. The water ports hand alot of gunk. But i cleaned eveything out it back together and now after running and driving for a few miles the iac doesnt get as hot to the touch as it did before cleaning. I also did plugs, wires rotor and distributer cap. All at the same time. Starts right up idles at 1500 then lowers to 1100 after warmed up.

The gold in quartz has a greater value as a gem than as the gold nugget inside. Counterproductive.

I've had a 1992 since 1993 when it had 4000 miles.

I used to drive myself fn nuts trying to chase my own ass doing this kind of stuff. After watching this I'm more than convinced to go get a new battery. Hell, you could just go steal one out of somebody's car and get less time in jail than trying to do this

I have 1989 b2600i , is the distributor and ECM unique for 1989. I just dont want to spend $400 for distributor, if a 1990 distributor is half the price. I hope you can help me that . Thank you

I have a 1989 mazda b2600i, it was running good. All of sudden it stopped running. It cranks , but won't start. If it starts it will just shut off. I've replaced the fuel pump and the temperature coolant sensor, and nothing. Any advice? Thank you so much

I thought these earlier engines were non-interference. ?? Prob going to pick up that $300 engine and find the exhaust valves on the other two cyls bent. I love subarus, but you buy a cheap one, espec an older one, and you'd better expect that you're going to find a problem like this. That said - like super easy to work on. I recommend.

mine doesnt want to start hot, 3 shops unable to diagnose why, i told the last one about the coolant temp sensor and they said they checked it and its functioning. for 30$ i am going to just replace it and see what happens...

i have my 1993 mazda b2600i 4x2 automatic, crank but no start, i replace the fuel injector, i also open the ecu and clean it with break cleaner and it removes sticky thing and the board is good no damage no burn not even single damage like brand new no corrosion but still it wont start, replace spark plug and air flow sensor the whole thing, but if i put starting fluid it sill start but after burning starting fluid it it will die, what do i do next? please advice. thanks

thanks for your video. very informative. i have a two wheel drive 1991 b2600i. during normal driving, the check engine light will go on and the truck feels like it is misfiring. i have also been told by a mechanic that i have low compression on cylinder 3. what i am wondering about is if low compression will cause an intermittent check engine light. i have smog coming soon and i am in a bind.

I have an issue with my 93 B2600i. It’s an automatic. When it rains I have a hard time starting it up.. it’ll finally get going and will run fine. Just the initial starting that I have trouble with. I have replace the cap and rotor, plugs and wires, ignition control module by the coil, it has a brand new Optima red top battery

Ok. So you said if your ECM goes out you will still have spark. Can you explain in detail how that is. Please I’m having issues getting spark with my truck. From everything I’ve seen the Hall effect in the distributor sends signal to ECM then ECM determines when to fire and sends signal to the igniter Wich intern drops the ground to the coil causing spark. Correct?

Thanks for all the info, our problem is when it rains the truck will die when driving through a large puddle , eventually it starts back up within a minute or two running roughly and the a few more minutes it may clear out.

You can do the trick with most detectors that’s why headphones extremely extremely important! So I were on the topic of Fields you are absolutely right on how hard it is to recover a piece of Farris or metal because of the fields i Will move and not be exactly where the target is you can move the target especially on a fresh piece of metal you can move it in the target was sound like it’s 3 inches from where it’s actually at you can actually just move that metal a quarter inch end it will sound like it moves 6 inches with your metal detector it can be extremely hard to pinpoint that’s why a good magnet is important. Don’t know how long you been running the detector . Obviously you have some detecting experience which is rare for KZbin! If you’re in a good area dig the targets don’t dig all the targets when you’re not getting any gold. People will never make it out of the parking lot!

What’s your hearing is two fields north and south give you double beep. Gold most of the time only has one field which gives you the single beep. You can discriminate with your ear you are absolutely right!
