I only have 1 of each for my base makeup. The only things I have multiple of are lipsticks, eyeshadows (a few palettes) and blushes (one single and one palette that is almost halfway empty). I got rid of my vanity last year so I have my everyday makeup in the barthroom and the rest in a separate box in my closet. Once in a while I swap a few lipsticks out as well as eyeshadows. I don’t really want to declutter too much bc I habe kept everything I liked and it was expensive but I will throw things out if they are too old to use. In the future I will be more picky with eyeshadows bc I am always drawn to colorful and also grungy palettes but the colors don’t really suit me and most of the neutral palettes out there are too dark for me.

7:20 yes the dates are not expiry dates they’re just guidelines as well “best before” this date. They’re saying the product will be at its best use and capacity before 12 months. But that doesn’t mean that it goes off after 12 months. The texture might decline things like that. 😊 Great video! I need to go through my make up this month! My favourite eyeshadow pencil at Laura Mercier was out of stock for many months. I did the thing where you go and buy a bunch of wet and wild, cover girl, colour pop eye sticks to find something similar. I did find two that I really like, but at the end of the day I’m gonna end up getting the LM now that it’s back in stock and I have about four that just didn’t work out for me. 😂
