Props for that Bleu de Chauffe bag, the Cabine. It’s quite stellar, highly recommend. It’s got superb build quality and makes for a comfortable carry. It’s inspired by dry bags which I’ve used over the years bicycle touring and paddling. It’s a convenient setup, very functional, offers easy access and if the bag isn’t heavily loaded, you simply roll the top down more to keep the size tidy. Not as quick to access as a typical Ortlieb pannier, but beautiful.

My favorite thing in really cold weather is a trucker over a Hooded cotton jacket, warm and really love the look of it, especially when experimenting with colors

Having been a diehard Nirvana fan, I spent the 90's with no less than 12 flannels at any given time. Even now, I have about 8. I still find myself scrolling flannels. It might be a problem. That being said, I think, hands down, the best overall EDC pocket knife has to go to Kershaw. I've owned quite a few because I always end up going to a bar, or venue and having to leave it outside and forgetting about it. They have some of the most sleek, thin and light pocket knives I've ever carried. Good list brother!

Is Evisu and Momotaro suitable for younger people, because of the painted bits? Your take please..
@zekeyeager1458 Жыл бұрын
Not really, I mean yea it might look a bit more “bold” and out there but honestly the maker of Momotaro is an old man who likes to be unique. Ain’t nothin wrong with that.

This is how good the list is. I watch and admire the clothing even though I live in the Southeast US - far Southeast - and the amount of time that I could wear any one of these items without pouring sweat is measured in weeks. Few enough weeks it would fit on one hand. You should definitely do a climate change/summer edition of this list.

Isn't it illegal to be carrying around a knife with you?
@CeeAreDee2 жыл бұрын
In my homeland (the UK) it is. But then again. We can’t even be trusted with glasses in pubs. In Germany it’s allowed up to a certain size. I think the width of your hand. Other places I’m not too sure.

Lost & Found is literally a 5 minute walk from where I live, so I might have to go check out that sweater. There’s another shop near here your viewers might like called Park & Province. Also, really dig that shirt your wearing - the pockets are pretty cool.

I love your videos but I am going to mention the elephant in the room: peacoats. What is more timeless than a peacoat? And you have just ignored them all this time. Don't you like them? What's wrong with you, Matt? ;-)
@CeeAreDee2 жыл бұрын
😂 oh lots wrong with me, least of which is my fragrant ignoring of the peacoat. To be honest, I love them! I think there’s not much that’s more sartorially solid than a peacoat. But I just rinsed them a bit hard in the whole post lumbersexual, pre peaky blinders times. So I kinda have a blind spot with them.

Great collection in this excellent video. Would love to see more coverage on cruelty free options; no leather no wool, no animal products whatsoever.
@CeeAreDee2 жыл бұрын
Sounds like an interesting challenge because if I’m honest, a lot of the options that are vegan I think are inherently flawed. From the production to the motivation to the product itself. Reading that back it sounds overly negative. Lemme think on it and see what I can come up with or is there a product category that you’re particularly interested in?
@jamesrobertson9762 жыл бұрын
@@CeeAreDee I totally agree with you. And you do not sound negative. In menswear, the "Vegan" versions often miss the mark (although "Brave Gentlemen" make nice pieces). That's the subtle difference between "vegan" versions and cruelty-free. I'm not as interested in the Vegan version of any particular item but rather I'm always searching for quality items that have avoided animal byproducts in their production all together.

You did so good until you went to Huckberry for your knife. They're way overpriced for the materials you get. I understand you're not a knife guy, so don't recommend them. If someone buys that Wesn they'll be getting ripped off. It's like comparing Armani jeans to Iron Heart. They're both jeans but one is overpriced with poor materials.
