I'm really bad at getting clay off my working surface. I just seem to always cut in it when I use a blade. Any suggestions on how I can improve?

I have a large white gloss tile on top of my work table. It makes removing clay much easier. Also I use a sharp crafting blade to get under the clay (start with the edges) to remove it from the tile. I hope that helps. ☺️

Hi, don't worry that's not a dumb question. You don't need to make it that large. I only did that because I wanted to make the items in bulk. I made loads of miniature oranges and earrings out that large cane. 😃 And thank you, so glad you like it. 😁

The house is adorable and just what I have been searching for. I am partway thru a Xmas scene with a mini tree, mini 3d printed gifts under it and a fireplace that now will have a mini gingerbread house on it. Is the house template available? I would be happy to pay for it or know the measurements if that’s not possible. Thankyou.

Gotta be careful tho! I had a scrap of bown clay just large enough to make a faux Hershey's kiss and being a faithful fan (much too faithful...my hips don't lie 😂) I flattened a piece of kiss foil and placed the clay kiss on that then added the little tag from the one I just ate (see what I mean?!) and it was just sitting there on my worktable. Well a neighbor couple came to visit while I was cooking dinner and I turned around just in time to see the woman about to pop the "kiss" in her mouth! I yelled "don't do that!" frightening her until I explained what it really was. I hadn't cured it so the texture was perfect! True story! 😂
