Miniature Simple Chocolate Cupcakes - Polymer Clay Tutorial

Hi everyone! Here is my Miniature Chocolate Cupcakes Tutorial. First I show you how to make the cupcake base, then create a mould of it. Then we use that mould and add the cake sponge and then the frosting. I hope you enjoy this tutorial! Happy crafting!

The type of Polymer Clay I use in this video is Fimo Clay. Baking times vary depending on the brand of clay used - please refer to the instructions on your clay packets.
This Fimo Clay was baked at 110°C/230F.

So I have a question for anybody who might see this. I also do cake decorating and I wonder if the clay would be too firm to put into a piping bag and squeeze it through the tip like we would do with typical icing if you were doing quite a few of these miniature polymer clay cupcakes or anything that would require the frosting??

I saw on another channel recently where she made a mold using a miniature Reese’s peanut butter cup. I think I will try both and see which one is best! But she did say to put the candy in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes so it’s more firm

Because when you make a lot of them you want them to all be the same size, plus, it would take too long to sculpt each one by hand, the mold makes it so much faster to make many more!
