Hey there Junior, That black tri-power is gorgeous. Can't wait to see it completed. No jean rivets or metal buttons while working around that one! I too prefer the motor in the front. ... and you missed stopping by that 4-4-2 😭 Take care and Happy Holidays, Dan

I think so. These people have serious cash. In the rain? Probably not.

I agree Jr. The engine belongs in front and you must have chrome bumpers. Mid-Years or C2's forever. Excellent work. Excellect shop. Excellent presentation.

I agree, I prefer a c7 over a c8. Corvettes started with front engines. The c7 is the last of the true Corvettes. C8 are another mid-engine car with the label corvette.

My first experience, I drove it into the wash bay , washed it , went to back it out , unfortunately I left my hand on the shift lever , damned thing would not back out of the bay . Told the service manager , no reverse? He told " back up with both hands on the steering wheel .

I think most people never get bored on building vette
@L46C319 күн бұрын
They may not have the same value as they do right now as the baby boomers die off. 40 years from now 30 year old's will be buying the cars they wanted but couldn't afford at the time, like a 98 WRX..
@L46C319 күн бұрын
I've gone thru the "original" numbers match, stenciling, crayon markings, paint dabs, - but today, I want a chopped up, flared fenders, roll bar, torque thrust "D"'s, crappy paint, unrestored high revving small block that I can drive EVERYWHERE! Convertibles are more fun to drive (IMHO) but there's nothing like a chopped up coupe.

My favorite year is the 67 but this car is beautiful ❤❤ With that power train it must be a rocket. Had three Vettes and now I wish I had one of these. This rebuild is pristine. Best I’ve ever seen. When he cranked it up that was a symphony of Detroit!

I'm so surprised that someone wants to sacrifice a 63 split window for a restomod. A 64 or 66 are better choices because those years are in-between notable models. Anyway, just an opinion from an old (73 years) Corvette lover.
