With the Update finally coming out there is a lot of things to admire and enjoy but there are a few that I wish had a little bit more work put into them and this video illustrates some of the issues with ongoing progressive additions.

One thing that's very useful is they added the rankings list and you can easily find the cheaters At the top with 99% win rates with 7 kd and only premium tanks lol

Regarding BR balance, this is why I always advocated for a "vehicle specs" balance instead of the statistics-based balance Gaijin is doing right now, or any other method that will create further issues. They always excused avoiding this because "players do not engage in the same numbers for each nation or BR range" and so on. Well, maybe that's because people tend to flock towards the most broken and OP vehicles since they're easier to use! Statistically, some will rush and die even with the strong ones - this does not mean that one specific vehicle is bad, but it will end up with a 50-60ish % win rate because of it! That's why many, many vehicles are still stuck in old statistics results since they're hardly played (and probably touched by players who tend to bring the best performance out of them), yet if you ask Gaijin they would say: "Well, this vehicle has amazing stats so we won't move it in BR!" That's why you rarely see people playing stuff like Hunter F.6 nowadays, Super Mystere, AMX-30 B2 or M48 Super.

Opposite for me: Random stutters went off, and new graphics are actually somehow slightly less demanding WITH maxed our RT.

I had a ton of stuttering. Then I turned on RT (medium), and now other than on map load, no stutters. No clue how that works.

They broke something with anti-aliasing so everything looks like pixels now even with aliasing turned on.

tried playing yesterday and its either super pixely but no blur at distance, or no pixels and crazy blur at distance. totally bricked the game visually and almost made me ill trying to focus

I always have SSAO turned on, so I didn't notice until I was messing around with RT that every AA implementation looks AWFUL. Thought I was going crazy lol

Playing Heli pve is a treat, one gepard burst hitting my tail and killing my weapons avionics everytime is great fun.

This past year especially, it seems like 99% of Gaijin's focus has been on top tier. I assume that's where their $$$ is currently coming from. They really seemed to have bagged any thought of truly improving play for mid tier. The battle passes have declined to a state of absurd.

The next BP will suck for me, as the only vehicles at Level 38 I'm missing are 3 out of 4 vehicles in this BP (Now I'm missing 2 of these, as I got Toldi this time). If the same crap continues with reusing old BP vehicles, I will just get the stupid BP wager... not even 1000 GEs, but a stupid GE wager that I would have to grind and maybe get like 100 GEs, if lucky. Why are we still paying for these BPs and then are forced to grind for 3 months? Are these units made out of gold? Total ripoff. smh

the main problem i have with profile is 1. they removed index leaderboards where you can see how good a player is and where he stands in the leader boards 2. people who transfer their accounts from console to PC dont have their stats from console carry over for example. i had 70k destroyed on console and since switching to PC i have accumulated 30k destroyed but it will only show 30k destroyed and wont count the console stats.

It is really annoying how every helicopter besides the Apaches and Ka-52 still did not get their proper model updates. No matter where you hit a heli with something bigger than a machine gun, it instantly destroys the helicopters effectiveness if the avionics fail. That should have already been implemented in this update. In addition these modules also need to be added to planes, otherwise it is just unfair for players who prefer helicopters over planes. Because attack helicopters are usually designed to take more hits. Also the French coastal tree needs to be expanded. It's the only one that does not have vessels of BR 4.0+, there are many gaps between BRs and many vessels are just not competitive at all.

It feels to me like they are understaffed for some reason. They're even having trouble with in the support department, saying there would be delays in response to mails because of there's simply "too many". And it feels like the dev team are missing some key people. Idk, maybe it's just me.

Yeh medal and vehicle counter missing, would be nice to see those back on the player card, gives you some sense of achievement and used as a quick visual reference to see who you are flying against.

4:54 the fox outperforms all auto cannons, even up to 60mm cannons. The Rarden makes no sense. The BMP seems to be okay, same with bmd-4

I just dont know why nobody is talking about the major nerf to lepard 2s that doesnt make any sense. Gijan didn't provide evidence behind the change, and there's evidence proveing that the limitations applied in game were only applied to the vehicle when it is in parades or being shown off when the stabolizer is limited for safety. I hope gijan provides us with a valid reason or revert to the leopard 2 changes. Becuase in actual battle/combat this limitation is turned off on the vehicle.

Funny how the br changes work because thay had no problem moving the xm800t to 8.0 from 7.7 but I guess any time there is a vehicle in America tech tree that’s good there is no time to wait to move it up but guess that’s just my opinion on that.

Im just sad the scimitar seems to be implemented in a bit of a worse state vs live, having issues getting any kind of momentum out of it so it isnt able to do rat things really, over 50kmh is a struggle and I had a ho-ri keep up with me from spawn until we hit 40kmh or so. Also for some reason the driver revs the heck out of the engine while you are sitting still. If a RARDEN nerf comes it 100% needs a lower BR.

The Scimitar should be one of the faster vehicles in game. It had to have speed governors installed to limit its speed to 50mph. With those disabled it could travel at 70mph+.

6:14 To be fair, it's only 'insane' if you're operating under the notion that the chief decision-makers at Gaijin actually care about the gaming experience of their playerbase, at least much past the point of placating them enough with open-ended, vague promises and shiny baubles that they'll continue to fall for your predatory marketing tactics, and won't review-bomb your game into the ground again out of frustration 🙃 Otherwise... it pretty much tracks with their past behavior: Get presented with an issue by the community, appease the peasants enough with nebulous promises to get them off your back, then proceed to fix the problem at your leisure... unless the 'natives' get too restless again, then... start the process over again 😂 Just my opinion, of course, but worth thinking about, I believe. In my opinion the worst thing on player's profiles is that they kept using months and days for tracking time instead minutes and hours it's frustrating when suddenly it says 1.1 month. How many hours is that to dick measure with someone on steam?

The heli DMs are annoying, the Fox/Scimitar thing is annoying. But damn let me tell you I could not care less about the profiles. All I use it for is to see what level/how many games people have mid-match. We don't need it for anything else, it doesnt't need to be anything else. The devs should work on something more useful. Overall the new profiles look like shit and replace something that wasn't broken to begin with.

This update is already worse for me than the previous ones. I almost finished the update download today (TL;DR f my siblings, stupid brats [still love them but my opinion still stands] sabotaging me) and when only like 20 minutes left from the download when it restarted, thanks to a newer one. So I spent around 29 hours updating for nothing. At least the problem with the email binding and WT Mobile Promo vehicles are mine finally. I had a very rough day, even the weather decided to flip me off, I had bad matches and now this. I played God of War III Remastered to calm myself but I'm still mad.

With the Fox's gun post pen damage, I think they(Gaijin) can't seperate it's damage model from some premium tanks that use the same code behind the scenes, and have been adding code to be able to split it (and simlilar tech tree guns) off from the premium guns, but something keeps getting fouled up

@@alecsandrhopp3512 BMP-2M - It's not the gun at 30mm im talking about it's the backend code for apds rounds, it's common to reuse code, reuse functions, or the same subroutines. The code in question is likely to be used by a premium tank's ammo but not at caliber, ( because if it was just another non premium British tank that used the code they'd have gone ahead) , meaning if they just reduce the numbers some ppl would be very vocal about their tanks not working/nerfed doublely so if they are premiums. Hence my guess as to why these updates were delayed
