Someone in a KV-7 was going head to head with me in my 3 inch gun carrier last night. We had a sniping battle. I was holding my own till his buddy in a Panzer flanked me.

My first 5 matches in the KV-7 I went head to head with Panther Ds, Sherman 76, and Jumbos with a 4.3 lineup. I gave up on trying the KV-7.

From what ive seeing, its really good at being a normal vehicle, and not good at being a very unique vehicle. Its normal as its a normal heavy tank with a normal 76mm main gun. But not too unique; being big as the Tog 2, or with a giant gun like the Sturmy. So the Kv-7 seems like a normal tank and its playstyle is dependent on the player compared to having an op gun or just being big. Seems like a good tank for normal gameplay :)

95% of the matches are uptier, i hope they lower br of kv7 or improve its armor, anything can pen me frontally, on tunisia map they penned me from spawn.

Why is it that if a new vehicle doesn't just absolutely dominate its br then people complain and bitch about how bad it is. How about you learn its strengths and weaknesses and adjust your play style to fit the vehicle.

Complaints about the kv-7 in either direction: lol, lmao even. It is fine, competitive even, and anyone who complains about a churchill is just self identifying as a skill issue.

I totally agree, I think it's been over hyped so far, I have not done amazing in it so far, I've played for many years so I'm not totally rubbish at the game either. Taking into account the uptiers and the fact you normally face good guns in both down and uptiers, M61 shells also cut through it at the front relatively easy, then I would also say it's just ok!.

Do you think the churchill mk7 is balanced at 4.7? I know 152mm of armour. But its easy to flank and the gun isnt great. Im asking this? As at 4.0 and 4.3 are the churchill mk3 and NA. That have the same armour values as this tank

KV-1E & B have less pen than the KV-1 Zis 5(or 6?) the KV-1B should go to 4.3 since it doesn’t face German guns.

idk i can not penetrate a KV-7 frontal in any germany 4.0ish tank neither the Swedish 4.0's - i hate these as enemys . i allways get one hitted and never ever pen anything

even the birt 17pdr go through the kv-7 any brit td will hammer a kv-7 anywhere

That's not much of a milestone. The Brit 17pdr has 190mm of pen with Solid Shot and 230mm of pen with APDS. There isn't anything at 4.3 and 5.3 that the Brit 17pdrs can't pen.

The event's over dude lmao. Since it's not tradeable you won't see it in the tree, you can test drive through the achivements page for now

If you got it through grind why not? Shoot your shot. But the vehicle is not worth paying for imo, if you pay and will not win the raffle then the whole event will turn sour.
