Propaganda left-leaning business schools are forcing students to study but the content is nonsense and makes a lot of assumptions. The creators of this video think they are much smarter than they actually are and its cringe.

As as I am informed plastic isn't equal non-refillable. We have refillable plastic bottles in Germany. And plastic has the advantage compared to glass that it's lighter, so you save on emission in transport.

Never understood why so many drink bottled water exclusively, but I know folks who swear by it. These are the same people who never even think twice about the radon gas that could be coming up through their floors (a simple test available at home centers can tell you) because THAT is something under their control, but their tap water doesn't feel the same way to them. My county pumps my water from an aquifer that I looked into through publicly available county records, online. I know exactly what is in it naturally, and how much chlorine is added to it to keep it free of pathogens. It is hard water, and like many waters contains a negligible natural occurring amount of Arsenic. Mostly because I don't like the taste of chlorine, but also wanted to remove the trace heavy metals and such. I fitted my kitchen sink with a Culligan multistage filter. That is all we drink now, make tea and coffee from, and cook with and it tastes better than most bottled water out there. The Filter is a level 4, so it gets damn near everything out, costs around $65-70 through Amazon, and lasts 6 months. Hundreds of gallons go through it in that time, so I'm saving a bundle and I know exactly what I am drinking.

This video was attached to an article that also didn't explain exactly what tests were done, or show a comparison, other than claiming people preferred the taste of tap water. Aside from whether that's even true (how many drinking fountains really taste good?) there is zero mention of any testing or comparison of PFAS levels. Agreed, plastic bottles are an environmental problem, but the heathful quality of water is also extremely important. Please present the actual tests and test results, and include results for PFAS testing, for a more honest, fact-based discussion of bottled vs tap water.

🎯 Key points for quick navigation: 00:00:19 *🚀 Introduction to the Materials Economy* - The narrator explores the lifecycle of products from production to disposal, - The system is described as linear and unsustainable on a finite planet. 00:02:40 *🌍 Resource Extraction and Environmental Crisis* - Extraction leads to resource depletion and environmental degradation, - The U.S. consumes disproportionately more resources compared to its population percentage. 00:04:59 *☠️ Toxic Production and Its Impacts* - Toxic chemicals are used in production leading to health and environmental issues, - Factory workers are exposed to dangerous conditions, indicating systemic exploitation. 00:08:18 *📈 Consumption and Cost Externalization* - The societal shift towards consumerism; costs of products are externalized and not fully reflected in price, - Planned obsolescence and perceived obsolescence drive constant consumption. 00:11:39 *🛒 The Cycle of Consumption and Its Societal Impact* - Consumer identity overshadows other roles, leading to continuous consumption, - Society works more for less leisure, contributing to a cycle of working, consuming, and generating waste. 00:17:05 *🗑️ Disposal and the Limits of Recycling* - Household waste generation has increased, with inadequate disposal processes exacerbating pollution, - Recycling is beneficial but insufficient in addressing the broader systemic waste issues. 00:19:17 *🌿 Towards Sustainable Solutions* - Introducing sustainable practices and collaboration can transform the current system, - Emphasis on new approaches like green chemistry and renewable energy to build a resilient future. Our tap water in Southern California smells like chlorine and tastes like crap and barely sqeaks by to be able to just drink out of the tap regulations wise. No way would i drink the tap water where i live. I also find it amusing that plastic bottles have been in use since the 70s and 80s and life expectancy of Americans went up until covid hit then life expectancy dropped back down no one was dying from microplastics then so why now all the sudden 🤔 can someone explain this?

So when ever I tried losing Angeles tap or Arizona tap my mouth gets dry and it has a very strange taste then I tested it for chemicals it’s high in chlorine basically pool water I’ve always heard that’s extremely unhealthy so why am I gonna drink chemical treated tap water if every state in the us just used charcoal filters and UV lights to clean the water maybe I’d give it a try I have systems in my house that filters the water hits it with uv rays and takes out chlorine fluoride and other chemicals all the bullshit the FDA says is safe bull shit 💩 I ad trace minerals were safe were good are teeth are better were healthier because of it and I didn’t have to spend 1000s of dollars either and it’s not just for drinking it’s all the water in the. House and we have a spring water pool drill far enough you’ll find water
