Need to get large mail order companies to adopt this. Amazon especially.

As a consumer, I have been looking for something like this.. hooray! This is something I can do to recycle even more, and others may feel exactly the same way! I am sure I am not alone in this

Fantastic idea! I hope it takes off...Imagine the impact if Amazon got on board...seriously! Good on ya's. Greetings from Australia

The big risk here is the reliance on large numbers of individual customers changing their behavior. If enough of them don't care and just throw out the packaging like they normally do, then you've just made the items going into the waste stream bigger and more durable.

Exactly my thoughts.Maybe if some additional tax was aplied, then customers will be more likely to send the bag back in exchange for that money.Similarly to a deposit-return system for recyclabe stuff.Otherwise i fear that people would throw these reusable bag away as they do with any other because it's extra work for them.

Easy to fix with a fee on the package that you pay with your order, and you get back when the package is returned. This works perfectly on plastic and aluminium bottles in Germany, Norway and other countries.

I'd love to see something like this applied to internal shipping. Many, many things shipped to retailers come individually wrapped, only for the item to be taken out and put on the shelf. Shoppers don't even see the waste, and are therefore less aware of the impact of their purchases. If the bags around (for example) each item of clothing were returned and reused, it would put less on the consumer and keeps the reuse within the existing system where things are easier to track.

Finally! Love receiving new packages, but hate excessive packagings. Makes me guilty every time. Can't wait until it becomes big! =)

So does it just velcro shut? Have there been any mail thefts with this product yet?

Its a good solution, i wish big companies assert not to provide polythene bags. I feel like alone, when i carry my reusable bag & return the polythene right at counter on the other hand i see many american just take lot of polythene bags. Its like you buy a pen, but you need a plastic bag.. this sucks

don't underestimate your impact. each year 100 million sea birds died from eating plastic pieces and that scientific information I learned taught me do not underestimate my impact even it is little bit, save a plastic bag, it do make an impact to sea turtles, birds and fish~! You are not alone.

@@xiaoxiaobaibobo totally yes. We can't save the whole planet but each one of us can save the life of a bird or any creature daily. It's not much to us but it could be everything to any animal out there.

You're definitely not alone in using reusable bags. I always bring one that can be rolled into a ball with me in my purse. Sometimes if I buy just one item, like a pen, I don't put it in a bag. I just carry it with my receipt in hand in case anyone questions whether I bought the item. I do agree with you that we are so used to needing to bag our items whenever we buy anything. Even if it is just one or two items.

Can it be made suitable for stuff that needs shape protection-some shoes do for example- or total protection like ceramics and glass?

I'm curious as to what happens with the Repack bags once they cannot be used anymore, after they have been used 40 or more times as the video states.

Another similar company to this is called Boox which makes a slightly more rigid mailer.
