I just came across your packing videos today and found them extremely useful! I pack very similarly to the way you do but the part about using a resizer tool was the key for me. I’ve always struggled with that but having that tool is now on my list. Winging it hasn’t worked well for me. Lol Thank you for sharing these tips. Subscribed :-)

You should use the Walmart bread bags for hats. 100 for $4. Much smaller, easier to work with.

Lonnie, when you measured that last pack…it was 22”, right? Bug you’d said earlier there’s an extra fee for length over 21”? Was there a way you could’ve safely packed it but avoided going over 21”?

I liked seeing how you did the bookends with boxes inside a box. I also like that you used just a piece of tape to hold the bubble wrap in place. I've received items wrapped in bubble wrap, and then the entire thing is totally covered in tape to the point where I'm worried I'm going to damage the item just to get the bubble wrap opened.

curious why 6x4x4 rather than 4x4x4? i have the latter for smaller items.. its less weight.. thanks for all the videos, I really enjoy them.. you guys are pretty awesome!

Good evening Lonnie: Simple thoughts: when you make a package with two boxes, you always make the same mistake of pre-cutting the two boxes at the same height! Now, you put one carton in the other and as a carton has a thickness ... the pre-cuts are no longer at the same height and when you flatten the sides, you "break" the angle formed by the pre-cutting of one of the two cartons and you weaken the whole instead of making straight, clean angles! the edges of the first cardboard you fold are higher than the edges of the second cardboard that you will end up "rounding"! you "should" pre-cut only one carton and use this pre-cut to pre-cut the second carton only once the object comfortably seated and after having folded the edges of the first carton, the highest one, so! simple reflections and not bad criticism:) Nice evening and thank you for your videos that I love:) Bonsoir Lonnie : simples réflexions : quand tu fais un colis avec deux cartons, tu fais systématiquement la même erreur de pré-découper les deux cartons à la même hauteur ! Or, tu mets un carton dans l'autre et comme un carton a une épaisseur ... les prédécoupages ne sont plus à la même hauteur et quand tu rabats les côtés, tu "casses" l'angle formé par le prédécoupage d'un des deux cartons et tu fragilises l'ensemble au lieu de faire des angles droits, propres ! les rebords du premier carton que tu rabats sont plus haut que les rebords du second carton que tu vas finir par "arrondir" ! tu ne "devrais" pré-découper qu'un seul carton et te servir de ce prédécoupage pour pré-découper le second carton qu'une fois l'objet confortablement calé et après avoir rabattu les rebords du premier carton, celui qui est le plus haut, donc ! simples réflexions et non de méchantes critiques :) Belle soirée et merci pour tes vidéos que j'adore :)

I love your and your wife's videos. I used to sell a few things on EBAY. I never had a store. Will you please answer a question? I stopped selling in 2008. Back then I just wrote the buyer,s address on the box. Now everyone uses labels. I do not have a label printer. Can I just print it out on paper, trim it down, and tape it on the box? I lied. I have one more question - for the short time that I sold, I just used home address in the from area. With all of the crazies now should I invest in a post office box? Thanks in advance for helping me. I am now 72 years old and I want to try it again. I guess I should get a basic store this time. I have so much stuff. I have been amassing things for decades.

I would have used the box that the star wars stuff was originally in, but just turned it inside out. You break it at the internal seam and then use a glue gun to re-glue the seam the other way so that the writing is on the inside.

That broken plate was a scam. They only ordered that one specific plate to replace their broken one.

You put too much pressure on that paper. When you do that it just transmits all the energy to the inner item when the box falls/takes a hit. It needs to be in the springy zone.

RE: the knob, if you haven't fixed it already, you can easily just unscrew it, and go to HD and get a wing nut with the same thread...it's metric.

These are the kinds of delicate items we sell and often takes a few hours to pack one order as you have to cover each and every corner and crevice to ensure you did your best to secure it. You can only do what you can to get their items safely to them. Would be nice if more than 25% of the buyers at least say thank you or give you five star feedback. But we still put in 100% customer service. On the supplies ->>> re-order extra surplus now before prices skyrocket or there is some supply chain issue like during COVID with possible tariffs looming.
