I don't think I've ever seen an animatic that captures the feeling of "Oh *shit*" When Hades enters and says that first line. I love how uneasy everyone is, ha. And the chase is AMAZING!

I like how the rift between Hades and Persephone stem from the both of them and is not a particular fault of only one. Hades, insecure about the surface and Persephone leaving him, creates a suffocating gilded cage, annoying the wild spirit Persephone. Persephone, annoyed at Hades, tries even harder to escape and turns to alcohol, doing nothing to dissuade his insecurities about her leaving, amplifying the insecure Hades. This incentivizes Hades to develop more of Hadestown, trying to persuade Persephone to stay. This angers Persephone more, strengthening her resolve to be free of Hades' "embrace". It's a cycle that only ended when Orpheus' song reminded them of their love. I love it!
