I’ve enjoyed everyone from wilt to lebron. A lot of great players in that time but it’s going to be hard to ever pass Jordan. He was the most athletic person to ever play basketball. He was one of the most skilled as well and he was a great defender. He missed 6 peak years because of college and retirement and he still did some crazy ish

Something to understand... when he is wearing that maroon shirt, and when the opposition is wearing blue... that is like the best players against the best players... AND they are playing extra hard, like their life is on the line and its the most important thing on earth. The fact he has so many highlights in that arena is crazy in itself.

This is not even 1/2 of the times he played injured or in pain. 3 times he played with broken zygomatic arch. I’m in x-ray and one of the times it had to be blowout fracture. He always went back into the game with no mask on and still bang for rebounds! I remember an interview after the game he said it wasn’t as bad as last time when he saw 2 baskets and had to guess which was real. This time there were 3 baskets and I shot for middle one. WTF still avg 50% shooting

Don't you ever ever ever say that again... there is no world in the Multiverse. Greg is better than Latrell ever day of the week. Greg could of played every position on the field... Latrell can't even play 2. He's a great centre but he is bottom two fullbacks in the game. So... please...highlights don't make a player.

His physical and mental toughness is just ANOTHER aspect of Bird's game that made him the GREATEST ALL-AROUND PLAYER OF ALL-TIME!!! There are a handful of players in the G.O.A.T. debate, but there is only ONE that is known as "THE LEGEND"!!!! Keep learning about Bird the player and the man young fella.....I GUARANTEE YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!!!! Much love and respect 🤙

That cheap shot to Bird's back by Chuck Person at 11:57 tells you all you want to know about Person. He knew Bird's back was jelly and he wanted to take him out and cripple him, because he knew the Pacers had no chance to win when Bird came back into the game. Just another day at the office for Larry Legend.

So far he's made the 3rd video reaction yesterday and there's a ton more he's reacting to because there's so many phenomenal bleach osts, the best in anime you can find besides fairytail and AoT

This video was about the intense rivalry between Larry Bird and Chuck Person, and there's a story you may find interesting. In the last couple years, I watched an interview that Metta Standiford-Artest (formerly Metta World Peace/Ron Artest) did on Byron Scott's podcast. It was an interesting and lengthy interview that - of course - included a big section on the Malice at the Palace because Metta always gets asked about it. He talked about how hard he was working on improving himself at that point in his life. Metta had a lot of trauma growing up which made him volatile, with a hair trigger temper as sort of a self-preservation defense mechanism. (If you don't know, he grew up in a crime ridden, poverty stricken neighborhood. As one example, when he was just 12 yrs old, he witnessed an older friend of his get stabbed to death by a broken table leg through the heart during a YMCA sanctioned basketball tournament.) At this point in his career, Metta was working really, really hard to find ways to control that side of himself. In addition, he had just won Defensive Player of the Year, and really wanted to work on his offensive game, so that he could be great on both ends of the floor. He said that he spent that entire off season, every day, working with Larry Bird and Chuck Person to accomplish that. To understand how remarkable that is, you should know that neither Larry nor Chuck were coaching at that time. Chuck was working in the Pacers front office in scouting and player relations and Larry was in the executive suite as President of Basketball Operations. Considering how they'd been rivals, with a few well known personal incidents between them, the fact that Larry and Chuck came out of their offices, rolled up their sleeves, put on their player and coaching hats, and united with each other to work with Metta that whole summer seems pretty special. Somehow, it adds a bittersweet element to the tragic event in Metta's career that happened just 7 games into the season. (It may have been working too. Metta averaged 24.6 ppg in those 7 games which was astronomical relative to his scoring across his 7 years in the league up to that point.)

Larry Bird - Top tier jump shooter. Top tier hustle. Top tier outlet passer. Top tier rebounder. Top tier free throw shooter. Top tier IQ. Top tier no-look passer. Top tier clutch. Top tier 3 pt shooter. Top tier playmaker. Top tier team leader. Top tier tap-passer. Top tier off-ball player. Top tier toughness. Great defender and the player with the least amount of weaknesses to his game in NBA history. His opponents feared him, and they have gone on the record in multiple instances to share that.

Another reason why Bird's career was cut short is because he played every game like it was game seven in the finals. There were no nights off, no load management, Nothing.. Bird played each game as if it was his last.

Larry enjoyed playing with black players the most because he thought they were the best and he learned from them. He once said, he didn't know why but he had never been aware of color as he grew up. He didn't hate white guys, just thought that it was disrespectful of the other team to put a white guy on him because he wanted to play with the best (and of course to get into their head). If you guarded him well, he would recognize it and was even known to have invited rookie Shawn Kemp to his place in the summer after scoring 50 on him in 3 quarters. He respected Kemp's efforts. He developed a really close friendship with Magic following a commercial they taped at his house. He didn't suffer fools well, but he respected talent. Read his book, "Drive" to get a real understanding of him. He grew up dirt poor and his father (whom he really loved) committed suicide while he was a teenager. His talent and hard work were what made him such a great player, just like others who want it bad enough.
