Thanks for the forecast! A bit off-topic, but I wanted to ask: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (behave today finger ski upon boy assault summer exhaust beauty stereo over). What's the best way to send them to Binance?

Hello everyone, I am a foreigner who recently moved to Louisiana. I think that AAVE as it is described is not only an African American thing as I met European Americans who speak similarly. They say "aks" instead of "ask". One of them uses "don't" instead of "doesn't". Same for "y'all". I think that the scope should be widened. As AAVE developed in the South, African American slaves and whites were in contact and ultimately ended up speaking an undeniably similar English dialect on a continuum. As for other features I did not hear them speaking with whites, such as the absence of "is" and "are". I just feel like we should acknowledge the fact that AAVE in Louisiana is not "African", but rather an integral part of the Louisiana accent with its differents shades depending on communities. Thank you for reading and commenting. Best regards,

Yup, "worm" is a very important word to know. What else would you say if you saw a tube of organs emerge from the very ground beneath your feet?

The issue with this is that inspired a new generation of dubbing to basically "mexican-ize" very single dub, which ended up hurting the appeal, as many references were exclusive to mexicans. It is exactly why the trend died. You can see the moment it died too, Adventure time did the exact same thing and after Season 5 they went back to a more neutral approach.

Ah, localization. There has been a war on X formerly Twitter regarding this, especially about works translated from Japanese to English. Some people localizing works from Japan disregarding the original author's vision. And some Japanese anime studio decided to use AI instead to translate their works. And now there are 3 sides - pro localization who want to do whatever they want, including inserting agendas - anti-localization who want truthful adaptation of the works even if they have to use AI - pro localization who also respect source material. And me? Not telling.

To be honest Shrek was not the first cultural adaptation in Spanish. There were cartoon and anime series in the 90s that were adapted this way in Spanish.

Not “queer”-that is a disparaging term that is supposedly reclaimed as was with the N-word (I don’t think I need to explain how this is racism)…and, let us not forget that the gay community has co-opted typical Black female slang (I do not think I need to explain how that is sexist and anti-Black).

I don't believe you should learn a variety of Spanish based on where you live. If that was the case, the entirety of The US should learn Mexican Spanish...no thanks. You should choose which variety you like the most. What sounds cool to you and which variety vibes with you and your personality.

As a beginner Spanish learner i want to know what is the most understood Spanish dialect? like in Arabic we have modern Standard Arabic that if you learn it you will be understood by Arabs regardless of their regions/dialects, is there something similar in Spanish or a more common dialect?

For short: in Spain they talk as if they were in the 14th century: "Madre, he ido a por jamon a la charcuteria". Meanwhile in the rest of countries we talk according to these times: "Mama fui a la tienda por jamon"
