My son is trying to learn German and I sent this to him.

I was nanny for a family....the mother and father were born in Germany but had spent most of their lives in the USA. They had a son and a daughter who I cared for. The children were brought up bilingual.....English/German. Whenever the children wanted to be secretive they would speak German to each other thinking that I could not understand them. Nana understand enough!
