Is it just my Tupperware carafe but the lid does not snap on?
@ttst962 ай бұрын
The lid does not snap on it only sits on the top. This is to prevent dust or particles from getting into the coffee while it is brewing and it’s 8 to 12 hour cycle.

It becomes a glaze on the bottom, so when you flip it over, it covers the cake.

I bought one of these new at Goodwill for 5 bucks. This is the dumbest thing I've ever seen. I didn't know what it was when I bought it lol. Like...who doesn't want mushy food cooked in plastic? eBay for THIS loser of a bargain!!

You should check out some more recipes. I’ve been using Tupperware for years and never get mushy food. Maybe you need an eBay microwave too.

This looks amazing and super easy! I’ve had my Tupperware multi cooker for quite some time but this is the first time I’ve actually cooked in it. I found this easy recipe and decided to give it a try. My microwave is only 1000 watts so I may need to cook a little longer than 20 minutes but we will see! It’s cooking as I type this. Can’t wait til time to chow down! Thank you for sharing your recipe and video!!! :)

You could make, "Cuppa Cuppa Cobbler," much easier. Melt a stick of butter in the Ultra Pro. Pour the can of peaches with juice on top of the melted butter. Mix together 1 cup of flour, one cup of sugar, and one cup of milk in a bowl. (Add cinnamon if you wish.) Pour the batter over the butter and peaches and bake in the oven at 350 degrees until top is browned. Delicious! Makes it's own crust.

What wattage is your microwave? I have burned 3 batches before it gets to 8 minutes.

It sounds like your microwave runs hot, I would reduce the power setting to an 8 and watch close to make adjustments.

I love your videos. I just watched a manager who was teaching her consultants how to use covert hypnotic suggestions to make sales. It was a turn off. I wouldn't have wanted to buy from her, even if I hadn't known what tactics she was using from study I'd previously done on that topic, just because it all came off as weird. It's not like Tupperware products are broken down used cars. Tupperware products are great, useful, innovative, and nice to look at, in a kitchen. You just describe them and what they do, in a person to person way without a bunch of hype. That's all you need to do. 🙂

I have been trying to learn how to make the waffle cut all morning and going from video to video and I still can't do it. Have used so many potatoes trying to learn by practice. I follow the instructions and turn the hand protector, but the slices still come out like a ruffle chip with no criss-cross pattern. Each time I turn, the only thing that is different in the final product is the ruffles alternate from vertical to horizontal but there is still no "waffle" shape. I think the only way to get the criss-crosses to overlap is to use the thinnest setting, which is number one. Even though the directions say use one through three.

Thank you for your comment! I may have to do a quick vid showing the waffle cut. :-)

I just bought one, but I’m reading a lot of negative comments saying it really isn’t a true pressure cooker because the pressure only builds to 4psi, not the 12-15psi of a regular pressure cooker. The critics say you’re only really steaming the food in the microwave. I’d love to hear your views. Thanks.
@TWBoys2 жыл бұрын
Well, I’m not an expert on psi, but I do know that the cooking time is exponentially quicker with the Tupperware pressure cooker. In my book, it works great!

@@TWBoys Since I contacted you I received my TW cooker and I love it. I now completely understand that the small boost in pressure helps food cook faster and keeps everything moist and tender. Thanks for the comeback.

Thanks so much! I just bought the smaller Ultra Pro Cooker set. I so look forward to making this recipe! Our microwave is broken right now. So, I will just cook twice as long in oven. I'll check back and let everyone know how long it takes to reach 165 degrees.
@rosemaryj83912 жыл бұрын
I am finally making the time to reply. This was amazing, juicy, delicious! I have the 3.7 quart size Ultra Pro and used a 6.18lb chicken. I did not have rosemary on hand (LOL, I know, that is my name.), so I used Italian seasoning instead. Since I like more potatoes and carrots, I used a different container for the veggies. Sadly, our microwave is broken, so it did take longer in the oven, about an hour. The best part? I was able to prep it during the day and put it in the fridge for the family to cook/enjoy while I was at work. It stayed juicy when I reheated it for leftovers. We were all tired, so we just put that bird right back in the fridge. Still juicy and fresh 5 days later. I used the 2.1 quart piece as the lid, but you could use the 3.25qt piece to take up less space. (And put something on top if your fridge is crowded.) Thanks, Tupperware Boys for a great recipe!

Chill the tomatoes first to make them more firm. Also Roma tomatoes work best with less juice.
