It absolutely pains me to watch this video. He looks so strung out and an absolute physical wreck. He really is August West at this point in time but instead of Burgandy wine it is the smack that is pulling him down.

It doesn't matter what song Jerry plays, but his solos always make me so emotional.

This is just incredible. My first show was 7/6/1990. I got to see Brent one time. The energy he put into every song was incredible. I just wish I could have seen him more. He the best they had.

Hey, all you fans! Who the fuck is the guy , in the middle, playing rhythm guitar? Smoking a sig? Is it Pete Townsend.

Jerry’s rendition of this song is so stunningly beautiful, it hurts. Hits me every damn time.

I heard that the guy who just showed up on stage uninvited was beat the hell up by the drummers because they didn’t like him at all ! To arrogant I guess ? I didn’t hear him add anything to this wonderful band who dressed like they wanted to + done what they all wanted too ! They just knew what was going to play next because in the beginning they had a paper with the songs on it but I told them to bring back some of the old tunes to play that we hadn’t heard in a long time so they did !

we stayed up all night watching the simulcast of this show and taping the FM. 3-28-81, fun night. They went into Around and Around after this, Pete had a bit of job blending in with the guys, but it was nice to see him there.

That part where Jerry and Bob are singing "I'll get back on my feeet some day' is hauntingly brilliant. And having Pete in the background just completes it. I'm a huge Who fan so seeing Pete and Jerry jam at the end is beautiful..

Being born and raised in San Francisco every time I hear this song it reminds me of my younger days taking acid or drinking and hanging around the piers at night and venturing into North Beach and hanging around The Saloon because nobody ever carded me anywhere except for the liquor store owned by Korean dude on the kitty-corner. Oh, can't forget about The Stone! Man, I used to have so much fun for $2 (a trip).

i've got fairly abnormal habits, which seem to keep Me preoccupied . From making decisions and aLLowing my psyche to progress nicely. It's not bad, let me say, but needs work. As aLL men do...However, the one constant I face is my deep Love for music. The mysteries of tone sure are wide. Jerry helps my soul, too. He dug himself out...
