I always appreciate a poster. Better to have it and NOT use it then want it and not have it. ENjoyed

It depends on the puzzle. Some are easier than others. Some three hours some 5 days. I don't care for time lapse. 😊🥰

Agree - totally depends on the picture!

I almost never use the image at all! I prefer the challenge of working out the picture as I go. I look at the box image for about 10 -20 seconds to get a starting/sorting strategy and general idea of the image layout but then put it aside. But there have definitely been a couple of puzzles that I absolutely needed the image for.

Ooh that’s a fun game! I may try with one of the 500 piece puzzles.

I only use the poster if the box is too small or cut off. 😊I do the same things. Great tips.

Funny coincidence, after watching this video the first time, I randomly came across the exact puzzle at my thrift store. I got it and your tips were spot on! And while the puzzle was set-up my mom found it and got involved with it too. I think in the end she enjoyed it more than I did. 🙂
@jennyjigsaw2 ай бұрын
What a crazy coincidence! I do measure the “fun” of a puzzle in how much interest it gets from my household members, who rarely join in unless I look like I’m having a blast.

I recently found your channel and am really loving your content. You share tips, tricks, suggestions, feedback, show and tell how you go about solving your puzzles. I personally already know some of the tricks, but it is still so refreshing to see someone actually teaching how to puzzle! My mom has puzzled casually on and off for years, but never knew all of this, now both her puzzle world and mine are expanding with your shared perspectives and she is enjoying puzzles with a refreshed light. Thank you!

I did this exact image, but it was a 1000 piece puzzle by Scmidt. After I put the "easy" colors in, I got stuck and then I also noticed the shadow! So much easier when you orientate the pieces right way up. After that it was much easier :)

I LOVE nostalgia puzzles. With those puzzles I first sort my ends out then I usually sort my pieces by which side I want to start on, left or right. It can take a while but it's just how I prefer to work that kind of puzzle. How I work other puzzles often depends on the subject matter, however I often sort by puzzle shape after my border pieces are pulled out.

I’ve never puzzled on a poster board. I’d think the pieces would slip - do they? I can see the benefits of being able to move them around easily…
@chillpuzzle27914 ай бұрын
@@jennyjigsaw True, they do move around easily. As long as I stay on the same flat surface, like my table, I'm good. Easy to move the completed puzzles around and stack them in a corner somewhere that way too. I'll need to find a better option if I ever consider doing larger puzzles down the road... 2k, 3k pieces, etc.
