Dec. 2024. We (hubs and I) binge PD every Halloween week and I sometimes binge it by myself now and then. The writing! The production values! The performances! Best series in a long, long time. 20 yrs ago this year S1 began 😈

So I have a list of ships that never sailed my top 2 are Supercorp and of course Harmione. JK wrote the most organic relationship I've ever read and seen. The way these 2 slowly but surely came closer and closer was so perfectly written. Even Book 6 didn't do a good job at separating them. Hermione Granger was one of 2 people that Harry truly allowed to hold him, think on that. Harry was an abuse victim who often didn't like being touched. Only 2 people were able to do it without consent, Hermione Granger and Ginny Weasley. Only 2 people ever threw themselves in front of Harry to protect him, Harmione Granger and Ginny Weasley. Only 2 people could feel what Harry was feeling, Hermione Granger and Ginny Weasley. But for all of you Ginny fans, keep in mind, he let Hermione do all of these things way before Ginny was a blip on his radar. What that tells me is that JK saw the chemistry she created with Harry and Hermione and basically in Books 5 and 6 wrote Ginny to match that.

That moment when you realize that a song you've associated with Dean Winchester for years also fits the first comic based character you fell in love with. Then figuring out that falling in love with said character is the reason you were attracted to Dean in the first place because of their tragic traumatized similarities. 😢 Logan shaped my type when comes to fictional men.

For the longest time this song always reminded me of the Tenth Doctor from Doctor Who but then it also reminded me of Wolverine and I definitely can see it’s perfect for Dean Winchester too! It’s such a perfect song for so many wonderful (and broken) characters❤️

this and queliot effectively destroyed my faith in tv shows ever being kind to my OTPs. pretty sure i stopped watching tv series in general and getting emotionally invested whatsoever in anything after this.

I completely agree! I think the only tv show where my ship was together the entire time & none of them died (well, stayed dead lol) and they had a happily ever after was Killian Jones (Captain Hook) and Emma Swan from Once Upon A Time. Every other ship I’ve had, besides them, has always been a tragic, sad, heartbreaking one, like Vanessa and Ethan😭
