Now I get it. It's a slide LOCK, not a slide RELEASE. I would get used to never using it as a release. Simply pull back on the slide (with no mag, or a loaded mag), and it will unlock and let the slide spring forward into position. edit: I subscribed because you guys at Top Guns know wtf you're talking about!

If this has to be explained to you, I'm not sure why you have a gun. Vehicles should be treated exactly the same as guns.

This is how we were all taught to grip a handgun back in the day. I started shooting in the very early '80s and revolvers were still wildly popular. This grip worked equally well on revolvers and pistols, keeping your digits out of the way of the cylinder gap and away from the cylinder in a revolver and away from the controls and slide on a pistol. It is also extremely secure.

Looked a a Smith and Wesson M&P metal 2.0 at a local gun shop. Sights were so horribly aligned I doubt you could hit paper at 10 yards. Went in the back and brought out two more and the sights were even worse than the one on display. Not much pride or commitment at Smith and Wesson, should be embarrassed.

Smith and Wesson quality control has gone to crap. Go on the Smith & Wesson form and read some comments of people sending guns back and getting them back two months later and having to send them back again no wonder they’re having a rebate.

Shouldn’t have to say the same thing 20 different ways. But I guess common sense isn’t common to most. Personally when I go into a gun store I put my gun in a hard case no mag no ammo and a chamber flag before asking if I can pull it out and I tell them right away there is a flag and I show them before touching it. No one has ever said a damn thing to me

I kinda never realized how many people just casually pull out their “unloaded” guns in the gun store like that. That’s insane
