I rode up to Corbin in Ormond Beach and ordered a seat for my 939. I can't wait for it to get here cuz the stock seat on this 2016 is unbearable for long rides however the riding position doesn't make my tailbone hurt like my KLR does. Slouching on this bike is not easy
@NirvashOne5 ай бұрын
I know this is an old video but wouldn't putting the bike on a center stand like a pit bull stand have the same effect as leaving it on the side stand? The weight of the bike is still on the wheel rather than being on the tire it's on the axle. Plus it makes for improved visibility on the chain adjustment.

I never had a problem, riding, long distances, and I’m 5 foot eight. I guess it really depends on how tall you are, whether you feel cramped or not on the bike.

i’m considering buying a 950 Hyper Standard to have a cheaper form of transportation and to have fun while doing so, been riding my 690 Enduro with SM wheels/tires and it suckssss on the freeways. How is the Hyper on highways? Ive heard serious wind issues whats your take?
@myhypermotard8351 Жыл бұрын
To be honest, coming from dirt bikes I am used to the wind. I have ridden high speeds on the highway and never really thought about it. If you come from riding bikes with a front wind shield, it may bother you. Since I never had one, it was never a problem.
@YuccaBorealis Жыл бұрын
@@myhypermotard8351 yeah thats my conclusion so far, you can get a windscreen for these if it becomes an issue. Hows the bike on long rides though? Still fun just going around town as well?

Good video man. But tbh 950 hyper isn’t meant to be for beginner. They look like dirtbike, it really isn’t. It works well on tracks. And guys shorter than you can rip those things like a monster.. also, not sure how it works there but some ducati service work.. you’ll find it horrendous. Ducati costs more buying and servicing than the Japanese bikes. Those kind of things should’ve been thought through when you get them. Changing mode difficulty- if that is hard to find? Bro.. Anyway not trying to disrespect but the cons you put out are mostly hard to agree. Fuel gauge - definitely could’ve added in I agree.

It's nothing to do with the screen/display. The lack of a fuel gauge is due to the size and shape of the tank and getting a sensor in there in order to provide an accurate reading.

Hey man, love the videos! Quick question, I just took in my hypermotard 821 for an annual service. I recently put on a competition Werks slip on exhaust and I went for a ride. When I got back the oil light was on and I leaned the bike and couldn’t see any oil in the gas eye. Do you have any suggestions on what it could be? Is it from maybe the slip on?
@myhypermotard83512 жыл бұрын
Is the drain plug still there? Maybe they didn’t tighten it correctly. The slip on should have nothing to do with missing oil.

You took out that drain plug and then said 10 seconds later that you’re not gonna mess with it. Huh???
