If you watch pereira his gloves cover just the hand knuckles, and hes learned to punch with the finger knuckles that arent covered by a glove, almost every one of his hook knockouts are with bare knuckles instead of punching thru the glove

I know Gillespie is a really really talented wrestler and I am his fan. I get what he is saying but Khabib spars with v high level wrestlers back at his home gym. That region, wrestling is extremely common. For me, its simple. If Gregor does take Khabib down, he can get backup, but if Khabib gets you down, I doubt that that Gregor's bottom game is enough to get backup or defend submissions. At the end of the day, its MMA. Anything can happen but I think Khabib would have mopped the floor with Gregor, as much I love his wrestling as well.
