I can't find a video of some using this pruner as the instructions say. Use gloves and both hands on the saw and not to use it above yourself ....did you read the instructions or you don't need that shit....?

The mystery tackle boxes are definitely a bit gimmicky, and I don't think they're all that great a value in terms of the items you get. For me there's a lot of value however in the randomness of the contents. I'm someone that goes to the store and gets paralyzed by options. I usually end up just buying a new color of craw plastic of bass jig, and don't end up trying a new lure type. These mystery boxes have given me the reason to go out and try lipless crankbaits, wacky rigs, spinner baits, and a whole lot more.

They’re definitely gimmicky, I just really enjoyed buying them and see what comes in them. I honestly hardly use anything that comes in them. It’s more than an addiction at this point that I can’t shake lol

I'm still unsure if I should get a pedal drive or a paddle kayak. I'm just afraid my legs will get tired quickly and it's going to be miserable to move it around. My arms have more endurance. Pedal kayaks are heavier as well. But it offers hand free fishing. While paddle kayak is better for shallow rocky areas as pedal kayaks can get damage if it hits rocks. Paddle kayaks can also be use in rivers where as pedal kayak would struggle with those water conditions. But pedal kayaks do well out in the ocean since you can travel faster. So much to consider, I don't know which to pick.

@@walden6272 there’s definitely a lot to consider when buying one especially an old town because it’s not a cheap investment. The one cool thing I like about this one is I have a plate that I can use to cover the hole where the pedal drive goes if I don’t want to use that I can put the plate in and use it as a regular kayak.

Now that you’ve owned it for a while, how does it do in the shallow waters with weeds? I saw you mention it around the four minute mark in the video, but just curious after some more use how big of a deal is it? I’m really considering a pedal for my next kayak but the lake I fish the most is shallow with lots of weeds.
@NewEnglandOutdoorAdventures
@NewEnglandOutdoorAdventures Ай бұрын
Shallow waters are a pain in the butt. Honestly last summer if I knew I was going to be fishing in shallow waters, I would take a different kayak. You can pedal through the weeds a little bit but you can’t get far before you have to pull it up and clear the weeds. With that being said I found a company that sells cover plates so you can remove the pedal drive and use it as a regular kayak.
@FishermanFred2023
@FishermanFred2023 Ай бұрын
@@NewEnglandOutdoorAdventures Thanks for the info. I think I’m going non pedal since the lake I fish 90% of the time is filled with weeds. Pretty much between the Sportsman 106 or the Perception Outlaw 11.5. Leaning towards the Perception due to the lower price.
@walden6272
@walden6272 24 күн бұрын
@@FishermanFred2023 There's a paddle version of Sportsman 106. I'm leaning toward paddle kayak as well for those reasons, you can fish in weeds and rocky shallow lakes. Paddle kayaks also works in rivers where as pedal kayaks will get destroy if they hit a rock.
